Luke's POV
I ran into class with only a few minutes left until the bell rang. Guess who was sitting right next to the only empty desk left? You were right. It was the blonde from Starbucks.
I sat down and pretended like I hadn't seen her before. I had to get her attention somehow. I couldn't just be that guy who sat next to her and did nothing.
"Can I borrow a pencil?" I whisper to her.
"Um, yeah sure," she says as she reaches into her bag and hands me one.
That was pathetic. I seriously just asked her for a pencil. I'm such a dumb ass.
The rest of the class, I kinda spaced out. The teacher talked about some shit I didn't pay attention to.
I left as soon as the bell rang. I couldn't embarrass myself in front of her. I had to make the first move. But how?
