Jeremy's POV:
Carter is a morning person so it's kind of surprising that I wake up before him. He's still asleep beside me, his arms wrapped around me and the blankets thrown all over me because he gets too hot when he sleeps. That's fine with me because I get really cold so having Carter holding onto me and all the blankets on top of me is nice.
I turn in his hold so we're face to face, and I reach up to run my fingers through his hair. If he were awake, he'd probably grin and tease me about playing with his hair, and I'd end up rolling my eyes and then whining when he started to mess with mine.
After a few minutes of being a creepy stalker, I'm bored. Of course, I don't want to disturb Carter, but it's kind of late in the morning and I'm both bored and hungry. Plus, he's clutching me tight enough that I probably won't be able to get up without waking him up anyway.
I try to squirm out of his grip, and as I expected, his eyes flutter open.
"Go back to sleep," he groans, squeezing me closer and pushing his face against my collar bone. "It's too early."
I press my nose into his hair, breathing in deeply. "I'm hungry, though. And it's ten... that's not super early."
Carter groans and I feel him scraping his teeth along my collar bone. "Where'd your shirt go?" he asks, nipping my skin and getting a sharp inhale from me.
"Huh," I say, looking on the floor beside me and seeing my shirt. "Down there. Not sure when I took it off, but it's down there."
My boyfriend sits up, pulling me with him and getting me to straddle his hips. "What do you want for breakfast?"
"Hmm... I'm not sure. We might have to raid Ben's cupboards so we can figure out what to make." I lean forward in his lap and peck his lips. "You have to cook, though."
Carter groans and gets up, carrying me instead of making me walk after I've put on my shirt. He keeps kissing and lightly nipping my neck as he walks and I have to tell him to pay attention several times so he doesn't drop me or run into a wall.
Which, he doesn't, thankfully.
"Good morning," an exhausted looking Ben says, flipping pancakes on a griddle on his counter. "If you two did anything... would you mind changing the sheets?"
I cover my face and Carter ruffles my hair as he sets me down on one of the kitchen chairs.
"We didn't do anything," Carter promises.
I'm thankful that he's being serious and not messing around because I don't mind teasing between the two of us... but when it's one of Carter's swim friends, it's uncomfortable. I'm still learning to be comfortable with myself, so only Carter, Amanda, or Janelle can tease me about sex stuff with me still feeling comfortable.
Ben hums. "Chocolate chips in your pancakes?" he asks us, and I nod eagerly, since that sounds freaking amazing.
Carter has a soft smile on his face when I look at him, and I notice he's staring at me.
My phone buzzes on the table.
Dad: You need to come home.
Dad: We have let you stray from God for long enough, but seeing you run around town with that faggot is unacceptable.
Dad: Where have you been staying? We are going to come get you.
I wave Carter over and have him my phone, my hands shaking a bit. "What am I supposed to say?" I ask, my voice shakier than I want it to be. "I can't go home."
