Carter's POV:

Jeremy being in school is so boring for me; on days when I don't have class, he still has to go to school and sit through seven hours of pointless work. Usually, I'd go work out, but I already went on a run this morning and I have swim practice later today, so I don't want to be completely exhausted.

It's nicer to have the people who are just in the semifinals, since it's a smaller group and I've always preferred small groups of people that I'm close with as opposed to a huge group that I don't know.

Like the party we were at... that was definitely a fun night. Never did I think I'd see Jeremy get high, but it was kind of adorable to see him in that state. Also, I was pretty out of it as well, so it's not like I can really say much.

Janelle and Amanda both have classes today, so I don't have anyone to irritate, and I don't usually spend too much time with my swim friends because they're always busy.

Leighton might be available, but he and I aren't super close.

Jer❤️: I'm so bored

Me: pay attention or you won't graduate

Honestly, I'd rather text him and I know he's a great student, but I like teasing him. Especially since I know he'll ignore me telling him to pay attention.

Jer❤️: You're the reason I cry into my pillow at night

Me: you've been staying at my place for the past two weeks and you always fall asleep before me so i know for a fact you don't cry into your pillow :)

Jer❤️: I set an alarm on my phone for three in the morning for the sole purpose of waking up and crying

Me: you would. drama queen

Jer❤️: Why am I dating you?

Me: cuz i legally own your organs and i'll sell them on the black market if you try to leave

Jer❤️: That makes sense

I grin as I text him before I decide to tease him a bit further. Since I'm only in underwear, I send him a picture of my abs and lower half, which I know for a fact he likes. He thinks he's really good at hiding when he stares at me, but he's kind of the worst, honestly.

I send the picture and wait for his reaction.

Jer❤️: I AUDIBLY GASPED AND MY TEACHER ASKED IF I WAS OKAY WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT???

Jer❤️: Nice picture, though :)

Me: only you would get pissed and then compliment me right after :))

Jer❤️: Yeah, I'm too nice to you. You don't deserve my kindness.

Me: your liver is looking real ripe and ready to sell right now

Jer❤️: I'm ending this conversation :)

Me: you texted me first! have a good day at school!

He doesn't reply after that, so I send another picture and he just sends an angry face emoji before I decide to leave him alone. He's been taking the bus back to my apartment after school (the normal bus, not the school bus) since I don't have a car and neither does he, and on my non busy days I've been meeting up with him.

However, Jeremy now has a job so today he has to go there. As much as I'm sure he'd love me hovering (that's a lot of sarcasm, he'd probably scowl at me for staring at his ass the entire time) I have other things to do today and I can't go bother him through the duration of his shift.
