As You Wish

Operation Radio Silence

Izuku curled up in his bed covering his ears with his pillow, trying to do anything to block out the sound of his memories.

The horrible noises, screams of innocent civilians mixed with gunfire.

Izuku began to whisper to himself, saying nothing more than "no" and "stop" as tears began to stream down his face.

Jin opened the door, having been informed of Izuku by his father, swiftly making his way across the room he began to softly stroke Izuku's back.

"Hey hey, shhhhh, it wasn't your fault. We couldn't have done anything to stop it, you know that. Don't blame yourself for what happened..."

Jin had Izuku's head pressed up against his chest, clutching his shirt, as he continued to cry.

Momo, wanting to find her brother, peeked in. She made eye contact with Jin, Jin shaking his head to not come in.

After around half an hour Izuku had cried himself to sleep, Jin tucking him in to the bed and walking out of the room.

Momo was sitting right outside against the wall when Jin came out closing the door behind him.

"Explain. Now" she said not even looking at him as she got up and dragged him to her room.

"Do you really want to know?" Jin asked raising an eyebrow, Momo hesitating before nodding.

Around 2 and a half years ago, give or take, there was a woman in the government who held a lot of power, and she used that power egregiously. Once, of course, the public found out about some of the bad things she had done which I don't feel like getting into right now, people began lobbying to have her removed from her spot in government. When she heard about this of course, she set up an operation to be carried out by our sect of the military, called Operation Radio Silence"

"What does that mean?"

"The orders were to 'silence the violent rioters' but what she actually had us do was gun down thousands upon thousands of unarmed men and women during a peaceful protest to have her removed from office."

Momo put her hand over her mouth, shocked. "And you just went along with it?" She said flabbergasted

"We had to, there was no ch-"

"No choice? Are you serious? You killed innocent civilians because what, you were scared of getting fired? No choice? I call bullshit. Get out of my room"

"Momo please you don't understand"

"I understand enough to know that you and Izuku are-"

"SHE THREATENED TO HAVE OUR FAMILIES KILLED!" Jin snapped at her, screaming into her face "THEY HAD IZUKU'S MOM EXECUTED IN FRONT OF HIM FOR FUCKS SAKE! HAVE AN OUNCE OF SYMPATHY"
