Susan's P.O.V.

My name is Susan Green. I am a songwriter and a performer. I started out acting plays when I was 6 yrs old so that's how I became comfortable on stage. I started making songs when I was 11. I played them at parks or just in my garage to let my neighbors watch. I make acoustic/pop songs and I know how to play the piano, guitar, and the violin but my passion is on the paino. I am now 17 years old and people say that I'm a rising star. I live in California with my mom, dad and my brother. I made a new single called "Northern Lights" and it's a love song. I like making love songs or simply soulful songs because you can find inspiration for them everywhere. I'm not currently signed to a record company so I just record songs and post it on SoundCloud.

Daniel's P.O.V.

I'm Daniel Setter and right now I'm living the life. I have money, girls who are crazy for me and I get to spend my lifetime doing something I love. Right now, I'm currently signed to International Music Records and it's the biggest record company in the world. I know how to play guitar, piano and drums but my passion is on the guitar. I right my own songs but my record company doesn't like me to release them. They think it would ruin my image. People think that I'm a bad boy with a lether jacket, a white shirt and ripped jeans but I'm actually not. I wanted to wear this just for one time and give it a try but now I'm doing it for the rest of my life. I write soulful songs but then I have to convert them to rock song just for my image. Anyways, I'm 17 yrs old and I live in California.

Susan's P.O.V.

Today, I got a phone call from Barry Cruise, the owner of International Music Records. He said that I have potential and that he wants to sign me to his record label. This is one of the best days of my life and I'm screaming up and down when I finished the call. They want me to meet them at their recording studio tomorrow to start recording songs. I quickly went to my diary/songbook and picked a song that represent me and no one else. This song is called "I'm this girl" and judging by the title, it's technically about me.

The next day, I went to the recording studio and I saw Barry Cruise and another person. That person quickly turned around and now I know it's Daniel Setter. I don't like him at all, he has a big bad boy attitude like he can just rule the world and aside from that, I think his songs are shallow.

Barry: Hi, my name is Barry Cruise and you must be Susan?

Susan: Yes, I am, it's a pleasure to meet you. (Shake hands)

Barry: So this is Daniel and you guys are going to write a collaboration.

Susan & Daniel: WHAT?!?!?!?

Barry: So I'll leave you guys alone so you can set your differences. (Leaves the room)

Susan: (sits beside him) Hi my name is Susan Green and it's nice to meet you. (extends arm)

Daniel: (shakes hands) My name is Daniel Setter, it's nice to meet you too. (Looks down)

Susan: So what do you want to make the song about?

Daniel: Love.

Susan: (shocked) What did you say love?

Daniel: I know, it's probably shocking coming from a bad boy but it's just my image, I'm just a regular teenager.

Susan: But I thought you write hard rock songs?

Daniel: I write soulful songs but I have to convert them to rock because it would ruin my image for me to write slow love songs.

Susan: Wait so you're saying that you aren't really a bad boy?

Daniel: Yeah pretty much but I don't expect to believe it because we hardly met.

Susan: Okay, so let's meet each other?

Daniel: What do you mean?

Susan: I mean let's know more about each other so when we make the song, it could be easier. So let's start with you, why do you like music?

Daniel: I like music because I can express any emotion in it. It like when you publish a song, it's like a diary because the more people listen, the more they will know about your real self. If you didn't have to convert it rock. Anyways, how about you?

Susan: I like music for the same reasons as you and because I can write songs and it's the real me and if people don't like it, then that's their problem so all they have to do is stop listening to the song.

Daniel: That's deep, I just wish that people new the real me.

Susan: I wish they knew the real you too. I think I can help you with that.

Daniel: Really how?

Susan: I'll make this song mine so it's like Susan Green ft. Daniel Setter. We'll make this song like you want to with no one holding you back so when they listen to, they'll probably know the real you.

Daniel: That's great but how can I repay you?

Susan: When I'm with you, don't hide your personality anymore.

Daniel: Deal so let's start working in our new song.
