Home Sick- Jay X Jungwon (Enhypen)

Side ship: Jake and Sunghoon. 

Short Summary: After the last comeback, Jungwon notices a change in Jay. Jay lays in bed all day, barely eats, and seems sad all the time. As the leader and a friend, Jungwon wants to make Jay feel better. (They're not dating, just friends.)

-Third POV-

     Jungwon yawned as he was woken up. He felt something on the bed next to him. "Hyung?" "Ni-ki?" "Hyung, I had a nightmare. I wanna sleep with you." He patted the bed, letting the younger climb in next to him. 

     "Thanks, Hyung." "It's okay. Do you wanna talk about it?" "Not right now." "Okay." Ni-ki snuggled into Jungwon and they went back to sleep. 

     The next morning Jungwon was woken up to movement. "Hyung, wake up." Jungwon sighed. "Hyung, Sunghoon Hyung made breakfast." Jungwon smiled at the younger. "I'll be there in a minute." "Okay." 

     Jungwon made his way to the kitchen seeing everyone there, except Jay. "Hey guys, where's Jay?" "He said he's not hungry and to come get him when it's time for practice." Sunghoon says. "He's been kinda distant lately. I wish he'd talk to us." Jake says. 

     Jay had been really distant. Jungwon made a plate of food. "Jungwon, you must be really hungry." Sunoo laughs. "I'm going to Jay, he needs to eat. He can't practice for 4 hours with no food." Jungwon left the kitchen. 

    He went to Jay, Jake, and Sunghoon's room. "Hyung?" "Jungie?" "Hyung, I brought food, eat with me." Jungwon sat on the edge of the bed, Jay sat up scooting next to the younger.

     "Jungie, I'm not hungry." "You need to eat Hyung. Do it for me?" Jungwon made a pouty face. "Fine, but you're feeding me." Jungwon smiled, picking up some scrambled egg and putting the bite to Jay's mouth.

     Jay took the bite, smiling a bit at younger. Jungwon smiled back, happy he got the older to eat. 

-Time skip to after practice-

     Jungwon was watching TV when he felt someone sit beside him. He looked over to see Jay. "Hyung?" Jay didn't say anything. He just laid down his head in the younger's lap. Jungwon was slightly confused but let him stay.

     Jake smiled as he saw Jay and Jungwon curled up on the couch. "Sungie?" He whispered. "Hmm?" "Jay is cuddled with Jungwon." Sunghoon smiled walking over. "There so cute but that also means our room is free." Sunghoon smirks. "Yeah, let's go."

     Jay had fallen asleep on Jungwon and Jungwon had fallen asleep on the couch. Heesung smiled at the sight. Everyone in the house shipped these two and Heesung was their biggest shipper.

     He carefully laid Jungwon down causing Jay to move, snuggling into to Jungwon's chest. He cooed a bit at the sight. "Hyung?" 

    He saw Ni-ki. "What's wrong?" "I wanna take a nap, but I keep having nightmares." "Let's go lay down." "Me too?" Sunoo asked, from behind Ni-ki. "Okay." The younger's cheered, following Heesung.

     Jungwon woke up alone. He remembers falling asleep with Jay, but the older was nowhere to be found. He stood up and stretched a bit before going to look for his Hyung. 

     He found Jay in his room, looking at a picture. "Hyung?" Jay quickly shoved the photo under his bed. "Jungie?" "Hyung, what was that?" "Nothing." 

     Jungwon ignored the situation and walked forward. He stopped in front of Jay. "What?" "Can we go get food together?" "I'm not hungry." 

    Jungwon looked down. He was a bit sad. "Jay, what's going on? You never keep things like this away from me." Jay just looked down, seeming to be more interested in the floor. "Jay?" 

     "I-I can't tell you." Jungwon looked down, upset at the older's words. "I'm sorry." Jay whispered. "No, I'm sorry." Jungwon says, walking out of the room. 

     As soon as Jungwon walked out of the room, Jay broke. He fell to his knees, sobbing. He had been so scared to tell anyone what was wrong with him. 

     Jay was homesick. He was scared if he told the other's they would laugh at him like his other friends did. So, he decided to suffer alone.

     Jay laid in bed, crying to himself. Jungwon was his best friend, and he couldn't imagine the thought of losing him. "Hyungie?" Ni-ki says, playfully bouncing into the room. "Hyungie, why are you crying?" 

     Jay wiped his face, sitting up. "I'm just a bit sad today. I'll be alright." "Okay." Ni-ki climbed into Jay's bed. "Hyung, I wanna play video games. Will you play with me?" "Sure sweetie." Ni-ki smiled. "You're the best Hyung." They made their way to the living room.

     Ni-ki had overheard Jay and Jungwon's conversation. He wanted to make Jay happy. The Maknae had noticed Jay staring at pictures of his family and assumed he missed home. Ni-ki understood being homesick, he missed his family sometimes too.

     "What game do you wanna play?" Jay asked. "Fifa?" "Sure." Jay got up to put the game in. When he sat back down Ni-ki scooted closer. Jay smiled at the boy. "What?" "Nothing Hyung?" 

     Jay and Ni-ki played for a while. Ni-ki was glad to see his Hyung happy. "Ni-ki, I'm sorry sweetie, but I'm sleepy." "It's alright, we can play again soon." Jay nodded. "Yeah." 

      As soon as Jay left the living room, he was sad again. He went to his room to relax, but when he got there Jungwon was sitting on his bed. He face turned to horror when he saw his photo in Jungwon's hand. 

     "Hyung, why did you hide this from me?" Jay was silent. "Hyung, are you homesick?" Jay nodded. "I didn't want you to laugh at me. Yeonjun and Soobin Hyungs thought it was funny." Jungwon sighed. "I know you miss your family sometimes Jay, it happens. It's normal to miss people you love." 

     Jungwon grabbed Jay's hand. "You wanna stay up late tonight and facetime them on my laptop?" "Please?" Jungwon nodded. "You're the best Wongie." Jay hugged the smaller boy. "It's my job to make sure my members are happy." He hugged the older back.
