Taemin (SHINee) X Kai (EXO)

Just a song suggestion- really love this one.

-Kai- 

     I sighed walking into the SM building, leaving Chanyeol in the car. It was nearly 10pm and I was exhausted. I forgot my phone at the building. I walk to the practice room and I don't find my phone. I walk into the locker room. I hear someone yell "Stop! Please!" Instantly I turn around. I know that voice. Taemin. I follow where I heard the voice come from. What I see fills me with anger. Taemin is pushed up against a locker with some guy trying to get his pants unbuttoned. I run at the guy pushing him off Taemin, who falls onto his knees sobbing. I recognize the guy as Shinee's manager. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" I yell at him. He smirks and I lose my mind. I start beating the shit out of him. Taemin is one of my closest friends and I'll always protect him. "Kai? Taemin? What the hell?" Chanyeol asks walking in. I stop fighting their manager. "This fucker was trying to rape Taemin."

     I walk over to Taemin and kneel next to him. "Hey, come here." He allows me to pick him up. He's crying into my shoulder, his arms tight around my neck. "Shh, I've got you." Chanyeol looks around. "I'll tell one of the bosses, you should get him home." I nod to Chanyeol. "Tae did you drive here yourself or should Key pick us up?" "K-key." I walk to my locker and manage to get my phone out. I dial Key's number. I tell him he needs to pick me and Taemin up immediately, and that we'll explain when he gets here. 

     He pulls up and opens the car door for me and Taemin. I sit in the back, setting Taemin next to me. "What happened?" Key asks, driving off. "Your guy's manager tried to rape him." Everything is silent, except Taemin's little whimpers. "Kai, should I drop you off at the Exo dorms..." "No!" Taemin yells. "No, you can't leave." He sobs. "I'll stay with you guys for tonight."

     We reach the dorms and the car comes to a stop. I get out and carry Taemin. Key opens the door for us. Minho looks up from his phone as we walk in. "What's wrong?" He asks. "Kai, you help Taemin. I'll talk to them." Key says. I carry Taemin to his room. "I'll get you something more comfortable to wear." He nods and begins taking his shirt off. I walk over to the dresser and grab him a hoodie and basketball shorts. I hand him the clothes and let him change. His lack of speech is concerning, but he'll talk when he's ready. He grabs my hand and pulls me to the bed. He starts climbing in still holding my hand. I take the hint he wants us to lay together. We get comfortable beneath the covers. "Hold Minnie?" He's slipped into little space. "Come on baby." He lays on top of me, my arms wrapping around him tightly. 

     Taemin doesn't have a specified caregiver so whoever's around typically deals with him. "Innie, Minnie scared." "Of what?" "Evil man come back." "He won't get near Minnie ever again." "Innie, I wan' daddy." "Who is that?" "No, Minnie wan' one." He looks up at me. "Innie, be daddy?" I sigh. "Not right now. I need to talk to big Minnie first." "Otay." He snuggles into my chest. "Minnie go night night?" "Definitely." 

-Morning-

     I wake up to someone shaking me. "Kai, please wake up." "Taemin?" I open my eyes to see a Taemin. His eyes are red and there's tear stains on his face. "What's wrong?" "Hold me, please?" I sit up and help him sit on my lap. He wraps his arms around my shoulders, burying his head in my neck. "Kai, the company is giving us 3 weeks off." "Shinee?" "Yeah, I also asked if you could stay with me if you wanted too. They agreed." "I'll stay." He looks at me, smiling. "Thank you." "Tae?" "Hmm?" "Y-you, well Minnie asked me something last night." "I know." "Did you mean it?" "Well, yeah. You don't have to except it." "I want to." Our eyes lock. "I can't help thinking that if I hadn't forgotten my phone, you may have slipped and not been able to call for help. I want to be your caregiver. I'm not sure how it'll work with us living in separate dorms. I mean I could stay here more often." "You stay here a lot anyway." He smiles. 

     I sigh. "I want Tae too." "Hmm?" "I want to be your boyfriend too. I'll wait til' you're ready, but I know what I feel isn't one sided. I've felt it for a while and at first I was scared, but now I realize..." I gently lift his chin up to look me in the eyes. "I love you." I gently peck his lips. "Kai, I love you too." We kissed again, passionately. "OMG, I'm so sorry!" We turn to see Key and Minho in the door way. Taemin buries his head in my shoulder. "Um, it's okay." They shut the door. "There going to think... oh no... there going to torture me." Taemin says, making me laugh. "It's not funny, especially when you hear Minho and Key fucking at all hours of the night." "TMI, I didn't need to know that." "Oh come on, I've stayed over at the EXO dorms, there's way more 'Sounds' there." "That's Chanyeol and Sehun. There loud enough for... anyway." I lean down and kiss Taemin again. "Will you let me take you out on a date?" I ask "Yeah, of course." We kiss again before deciding to start the day.
