Madison wiped the wet tears off her face while strolling down the dark eerie street. Malia had went off into the forest and left Madison alone, to listen to her own thoughts. As Madison walked down the path, shivering with the intense cold she burst into tears. Her eyes for the second time that day began pooling with water. She felt betrayed. Her own brother and one of her closest friends kept a life changing secret from her. Would they have even told her if Malia didn't show Madison the Deadpool herself?
As the street lights flickered she pulled out her phone from her oversized pink sweater. Her tears dropped onto the screen as she swiped through her contacts. She had finally reached the 'M' category and searched for Masons name. She quickly rang his number, just to get sent to voicemail, she rang again and again, until she eventually gave up. She groaned and switched off her phone.
Madison had been walking for what seemed like forever, she approached a rather large house and stepped inside the porch. This was her only option. She let out another sob, as well as more tears and reached to ring the doorbell. Her ears rang in pain as it vibrated through her ears. As a noise of footsteps became closer her heart skipped beats. The door quickly swung open, and she instantly regretted ringing that stupid doorbell.
"Hi..." She spoke, as her voice quivered.
"Madison? It's 2am what are you doing here-"
"Can I come in?" another tear running down her face.
"Fine- just.. be quiet okay? My parents are asleep."
Madison entered the large home and followed them into the kitchen. It was much warmer in the home than it was outside. She sniffled and quickly wiped another dripping tear from her face.
"Madison- are you okay?" The voice spoke.
"I-" She stopped herself. Before she could manage to make another sound a stream of tears came from her eyes. She couldn't help it, they wouldn't stop.
"Madison?"
"Liam- I'm so sorry." She apologised. "I should just go- I mean it, I'm sorry.."
"Hey.. wait." Liam spoke, making Madison turn around to finally look back at him. "Come on." He said, guiding Madison up the stairs. He showed her to a room door which he then opened quietly so his parents wouldn't wake.
"Just sit in here okay? I'll be back." He frowned. "I mean it- don't move."
Madison nodded in silence and looked around his room. His room was a pretty blue, and had posters over the walls. He had two very large windows that showed the view of the street that Madison had not long ago walked on. His bedsheets were a blue plaid and his bedside table a pinkish red.
She sat herself on his bed and stared at the door, waiting for his return. All she could think about was Scott and Stiles and how much they had betrayed her. She always wanted to find herself, learn about her birth family, but not like this..
