"Haaa..."
Alaska tiredly laid herself out on a rooftop as she stared up to the sky, the thin layer of snow under her was just cold enough to not make it uncomfortable but nice instead.
"Alaska, are we leaving any time soon?"
Even Lena was curious about their current plans.
"We've been here for like a week and a half? What's next?"
"I feel you, Lena. I'm feeling adventure-starved as well. Really, there's only one thing keeping us here."
"Alaska... I don't think-"
"Don't tell me the truth!!" Alaska's face cringed at the fact Lena may be correct in any way, "Let me try, at least! Damn it, that street is so loud again!" Alaska got up and stared over into the main street to see a few different types of people walking around.
"What did you expect sitting next to the main street?"
Onis, adventurers, townsmen, and the usual traveling caravan were all populating the town streets since Ayame and company won back a proper standing for the city.
Of course, it's only been a week and a half but, it's a lot better than it was before. Lisbeth was chilling out at the shrine while Alaska was here waiting for Ayame to show up for her, she really didn't know where she was but could easily look for her if she wasn't feeling so lazy.
"...I feel as if it's more of a 'she likes me, I like her, but she's scared' type of thing, you know?" Alaska smirked and sat down on the edge of the building, letting her feet swing off the edge.
"I'm not sure. She looks to want to stay with her people. She seems to like us a little though..."
"Whaaat? Don't be such a pessimist, she likes us enough to call us her friend at least. Her parents definitely don't like me though."
"Are you talking about me?" That semi-deep voice came from behind Alaska and the girl turned her head behind her to see Ayame standing there with Beta next to her.
"Uh... how much did you hear is the better question?" Alaska was desperate to hope she didn't hear the whole, "she likes me" part.
"hmm... only to the part where you said my parents don't like you." Ayame went over and sat down next to Alaska on the rooftop.
"I was only just talking to Lena about something, I really don't know how you came up in the conversation..." Alaska was trying to play off that the entire conversation was about her.
Beta jumped over and laid down behind them in a big form so they could use his tails like a really big pillow. Alaska took instant advantage of this, letting go of her posture and falling back into the tails.
"Hm. Sure. Why does it seem like any time I come back to you, you're talking about me, huh?" Ayame made a good point that Alaska literally couldn't refute so instead, she'd just change the topic entirely, she was glad she had the perfect one sitting right in front of her.
"Oh yeah, what's up with the outfit change?"
Ayame swapped out her full armor for something much more casual in a way. Hakama pants with boots more akin to what Alaska was wearing which she found a bit surprising, her kusazri was still in place while her hakama top was covered with a chest piece and an igote going over that. A single gloved hand, with all of it being black changing up her entire vibe from the last time.
"Huh, I usually wear this? Ah, I was really trying hard to win so I had on my armor on. That's how you know I'm getting serious, I prefer wearing this most of the time."
