"Kate!" My mother screamed up the stairs, waking me up,"Time for school, Get up!"
It was the first day of my new school, Madrid High School. I slowly got out of my bed slipping on a black sweatshirt and ripped jeans. I slipped my light purple hair into a loose ponytail and put on a pair of black converse. I walked down the stairs grabbing an apple and making my way out the door, but being stopped by my mother,
"Kate? How about a goodbye?" My mother sighed giving me a hug.
"Bye Mom" I smiled and hugged her back.
As I got into my car I turned on the radio and drove to my new school. As I got there I parked and grabbed my bag, as I slowly walked into my first period, English, out of the corner of my eye I saw this boy, "Whatever" I said to myself walking into English. I took a seat near the back hoping not to be noticed.
"Hello Class," A women from the front of the class announced,"I'm Mrs. Chandler, your eleventh grade English teacher." He explains everything that we are going to learn and gives us our books and what we will need for his class. I slip it in my folder and puts the books in my backpack. Quickly after the bell rings and I get up and walk out.
It all happened in a blur, I think that I was walking so fast. But who can be sure. All I know is that I ran into that boy from earlier
"Oh my god. I'm sooooo sorry" I apologize looking up at the boy with a blue t-shirt and dark brown hair. Also since his shirt was so tight he had a nice pack of abs as well, not that I was looking, but well.. Yes I was looking.
"It's okay.." He said stroak inch his hair back so perfectly.
"I'm Kate." I smiled
"I'm Grayson," He smiled back," Grayson Barkley"
