Girls Night

Jo’s POV

Once I get to the bar, I walk into my office and notice all the paperwork and think-

YUCK.  I don’t want to do my paperwork

and decide to go to Walmart Mart instead and get the girls and I new outfits.  Once I am done at Walmart I head back to the bar and set up for tonight.

I put each outfit on a hanger and write their names on paper and pin it to the correct outfit.  I walk in the office and decide to do some of the paperwork. 

At 5pm I walk to practice the new dance with the girls.  I start to explain the dance for tonight and Mia says-

"Why? Because Mo got jealous because his boyfriend liked me better." 

I watch Mo jump on Mia and slap her really hard and then punch Mia.

  Danny then picked Mo off Mia as he walked over to Mo.  I told her to-

"Stop saying that what Mia said wasn't true."

I told Mia to-

"Stop and leave. You no longer have a job here and are not welcomed back."

  I asked Travis to escort Mia out of the bar.  I turn to the girls and say-

"Let’s learn this dance so I can show you all the new outfits for tonight."

I showed them the dance and they all caught on really fast.  We finish practicing so I take the girls to the change room and show them their new outfits.  They all love them!

  We start to get ready together. The next thing I know I look up and it is 6pm. 

I finish up and walk out to unlock the door to get this girl's night started.  I unlock the door with customers waiting to come in.

I let them all in and silently hope the guys don’t come tonight and there is no more drama. 

Tonight is so busy I almost forgot about the dance. I happened to look up at the clock and it was 8:45pm.

  I tell Travis I have to go.  I walk up to Danny to introduce the girls and the dance. It is 9pm. I grab the microphone and say-

"Hello everyone Welcome to Songini Recording tonight. I hope you all are having fun.  Tonight as like every Saturday we have a special dance for you all.  Our first dancer is Michaela, my daughter, then Elle and Mel and finally myself and the dance we will be performing is ''Man I feel like a woman.''

I walk down and get into position and we all dance and goodness it was fun.  The customers loved the dance and the girls were going crazy for it.

  I get down and head back to the bar to help Travis fill drink orders.  When I look up this time I notice Noah, Hero and then Felix walk in.

  I think-

"Oh Crap! Where is Mo?"

  I search the bar and finally see her dancing. Then a customer pulled her aside and apparently needed drinks because she came to the bar.

  However she just filled them herself because Travis and I were serving customers.  I continue to watch her smiling, having a great night. Maybe there won’t be any drama.

  As long as they stay away from each other.  I heard the song change to Human, which I really like.

  I look up and see we are slowing down and I begin to walk out to the dance floor when I see Mo dancing to this song.  I watch her the entire time she is so emotional but the moves and dance are beautiful. She is really leaving it all on the floor.

As I continue to watch her I begin to cry I swear I can feel everything she is going through as she dances.  As she finishes everyone is either crying, clapping or cheering.  I watch her realize Felix just watched that entire dance.  Mo then ran to the office.

  I decided to let Mo have some time alone.  I go behind the bar and fill some orders and about 1 am I go into the office to check on Mo and she is singing in the change room.

She is singing Stronger by Kelly Clarkson and I think that is my girl. She is using music as therapy.

  I ask her if she is okay?  She replies-

"Yes I wasn’t planning on doing that dance let alone in front of him.  Mom I never felt that kind of emotion run through me."

"Mo, it showed in that dance it was beautiful no one could take their eyes off of you."

I told her.

She says-

"Really?"

"Yes, Mo every time you dance it needs to be like that.  You are so much stronger than you give yourself credit for.  Sis, I know you will get through this break up and you will be even better and stronger than ever before.  Now let’s not let a stupid boy break you.  I am here for you no matter what."

There was-

"Me two"

and-

''Me three."

I look up and see Elle and Mel.  Mel said-

"Jo it is 2 am plus just so you know the boys left so Mo comes and dances with us. It is our last dance of the night"

Elle said.

  Mo said-

"Okay"

and we all got up and walked out of the office together.  The remaining customers clap for Mo and I head behind the bar.

I yell-

"Last call so come and get your last drink and in honor of my daughter, Mo it is in the house."

  Danny goes to play Human so we all can dance together.  Danny runs upstairs and turns the song on whilst us girls head to the center of the dance floor.

  We all dance tonight until the song ends then we begin to clean and Travis escorts the rest of the customers out.

  As I clean Titanium plays and I sing along with the song.

The girls go change and boys clean up VIP tables and bars.  I restock as I am singing.

As the song ends everyone claps for me.

I say-

"Thanks"

and head to the office.

  When I come out they are all talking when I get closer I hear-

"Let’s play soccer tomorrow which surprises me because it was Mo who suggested it."

Everyone says-

"Yes"

and they look at me.  I look at Mo and ask-

"Are you inviting the boys too?"

  Mo says-

"Yes, well can someone else ask them but I am fine with it."

Travis said-

"I will text them tomorrow."

  I say-

"Okay we will meet at 3pm at the park."

  Everyone says-

"Okay"

and go their separate ways.
