Amaimon's Pov

I remained outside of her window for the majority of the night, practically refusing to leave. Why, you might ask? I felt like it. I was bored, big brother refused to play with me.

*Flashback*

"Why won't you play with me?" I asked in my usual disinterested voice. I could sense big brother getting agitated with my constant pestering. I didn't give a shit. I'm bored, and it's his fault for keeping me in his office all damn day.

Mephisto let out a long dramatic sigh, "Must you bother me while I work, Amaimon?" I can hear the annoyance laced in his tone.

"I don't know why your annoyed, I'm here because of you after all." I said mater-of-factly. Mephisto sighed again.

"Why don't you go outside and find something to entertain yourself with?" This time not bothering to hide his irritation. I could practically see the tick marks appear on his forehead.

I let out a breathy sigh, "Well then, I'm gonna go have some fun. Don't know when I'll be back." I replied, hiding my anticipation. I was going to see her. My queen.

*Flashback End*

I watched her peacefully stir in her sleep. Although it was tempting, I never went inside. I didn't want to frighten her.

More often then not, she would fall asleep crying. I didn't know the reason behind her anguish, but I would find out who or what caused it and I would end them.

The sun had just started to raise over the horizon and the light kissed her skin beautifully. She fascinated me for reasons I am unsure of, but I'll figure that out soon.

I decided to remain watching her a bit longer, that is until I saw her waking up. I swiftly jumped to a tree that was by her house, then to tree line where the forest started.

"Until next time, my love." My voice rang just above a whisper, although there was nobody to hear it.

Y/N's Pov

I slowly fluttered my eyes open until I saw the blinding light of the sun passing through my thin black curtains. I raised my head off of my pillow, allowing my h/l h/c hair fall over my face as I yawned.

I quickly got up and completed my morning routine before heading to the kitchen to make breakfast. I trotted down the stairs to the kitchen to make myself a bowl of cereal ( yes, very healthy I know).

After I was finished with everything, I walked back into my room and put my True Cross uniform on. I was practically jumping out of my skin. I couldn't wait to start learning to become an exorcist.

I was lost deep in thought, I was remembering why I wanted to be an exorcist in the first place. When I was 14, my parents were killed by a lower level demon. Now I'm determined to help the world better understand them. I now live on my own thanks to the small fortune my parents left for me.

I snapped out of my haze when I heard knocking on my door. 'That's odd' I thought to myself. I wasn't expecting anybody.

I finished fixing my uniform, which my skirt was a bit too short for my liking but whatever, then I went downstairs to open the door. There stood Mephisto, the principal of True Cross Academy (he's actually a demon). I don't think I'll ever get used to his eccentric clothing, it makes him look like a clown.

"Ah, hello my dear. I'm here to show you around my fine school" he kissed my hand, smirking at his last comment. I giggled, Mephisto and I had been friends for quite a while and I knew how full of himself he was.

"Alright, I just need to grab my bag, then we can go. Is that okay Mephy?" He cringed at the nickname I gave him then quickly responded, "Of course darling. I would also like to inform you that you will be moving into a dorm today. Its rather isolated, you'll only have 2 other people in the entire building." He seemed rather excited during his explanation.

I ran up and grabbed my bag, and then walked out the door, locking it behind me. Mephisto and I linked arms as I stepped away from the door, "Einz....Zwei.....Drei!" He added emphasis to the last word for dramatic effect. I always though it was funny when he did that.

Within a second we were standing in front of a rundown building, to which I assumed was the dorm house. As if he read my mind, Mephisto said, "This is the dorms you will be staying in Y/N! I apologize for it being so decrepid."

"No worries Mephy, I don't mind at all. You know how much I love isolation. 2 housemates is plenty." He snickered at my enthusiasm.

(Time skip to after the tour)

I flopped down on my new bed exhausted. I didn't actually start school today, it was just a tour. However, cram school is in session today. That starts in about an hour.

"Aghhhhhh, I'm so damn tired. Why the hell is this school so big" I grumbled, although it was more of a whine. I heard laughing outside my door and then a knock.

I figured it must be one or both of my housemates, so I got up and answered the door. When I opened the door, I saw two boys that looked hella similar.

"Hello, I'm Yukio Okumura, and this is my twin brother Rin. We came to introduce ourselves seeing as we'll be living in the same building until further notice." He sounded uptight, but he was very friendly. His brother was standing beside him gawking at me as if he'd never seen a girl before.

I stuck my hands out to each of them, which they kindly returned the gesture. "Hi, I'm Y/N. Its a pleasure to meet you" I said with a genuine smile.
Rin was still just looking at me until Yukio smacked the back of his head, " It's rude to stare, idiot." I giggled under my breath when Rin snapped out of his trance.

"I-i'm sorry. I-i didn't m-m-mean to be r-rude." He was stumbling over his words which i thought was adorable. "No harm done" my voice was light, and joyful. Although I had a weird sensation, as if I was being watched. I looked around my room, then out my window. Nothing. It was just an odd feeling.

"Is everything alright, Y/N?" Yukio asked curiously while tilting his head. "Y-yeah, everything's fine. I just got chilly" I lied. I don't typically lie, but it was nothing important.

We said our goodbyes, then I flopped back down on my bed. The same feeling from earlier returned, but this time it was less intense.

*Third Pov*

She wasn't wrong, because off in the distance Amaimon sat percehed in a tree. He watched the whole interaction , just like he had observed Y/N while she was with Mephisto. However, Amaimon didn't see Mephisto as a threat. Rin on the other hand, was a different story.

He let his bloodlust escape for a moment while Rin was talking to Y/N. Alerting her of his presence, however, she wasn't able to see him. He was upset that Mephisto put Y/N and Rin in the same building together. He knew it was on purpose, but he couldn't do anything other than keep an eye on her. Which is exactly what he did, he spent most of his time watching Y/N from a distance.

"Why is she so interesting? She's just another human, nothing special about her" he whispered to himself thoughtfully. He remained high in the canopy of trees for the remainder of the day, just fascinatedly watching Y/N walk around her dorm doing nothing particularly interesting.
