The next evening, Seonghwa had been sent to  monitor the speeds of cars. It was another way to capture racers, but they were fast and got away easy. 

"One boring night"... He muttered as he drank his coffee. It was one of the most boring things a cop could be sent to do, especially on a road no one really used. As he sat there, he hummed softly to himself as he thought about the night before. He had felt an adrenaline run through his body during the race and he liked it surprisingly. 

"I'm a cop. I can't like racing"... He muttered to himself. Seonghwa replayed the events in his head over and over again. Hongjoong appeared in his head and he felt himself smile softly. Hongjoong was a mystery just waiting to be uncovered. And Seonghwa felt like he could uncover his mystery. 

As he sat there, he didn't notice a set of lights in the rear view mirror getting closer before the speed meter went off. 

"Oh shit"! Seonghwa put his car in drive and sped off after the speeding car, his sirens on as he went. The car didn't look like it was going to slow down so Seonghwa sped up, managing to catch up to the car. Knowing the driver couldn't outrun the cop, the car came to a slow and pulled over. Seonghwa smiled as he pulled up behind him and jumped out. 

"Do you know how"- Seonghwa froze, cutting himself off. He stared at the driver like he had seen a ghost. 

"H-Hongjoong"?

Hongjoong stared at the boy next to his car in shock. 

"Y-your a cop... Your a fucking cop"!! He shouted, throwing his door open. Seonghwa backed away.

"I-I can explain"-

"Save it! You only raced so you could get close to me before arresting me! You think I'm fucking stupid"!? Hongjoong yelled. He had this feeling inside him he had never felt before. He felt... betrayed, yet he barely knew Seonghwa. 

"N-no I didn't. T-the chief didn't know what I did. I-I wasn't gonna arrest you", Seonghwa tried to say.

"Liar! I actually trusted you! You were one of the best racers out there! Now I find out your a fucking cop! Explains your skills"... Hongjoong walked back to his car before Seonghwa grabbed him. 

"Please let me explain Hongjoong". The racer turned to him and glared. Seonghwa released him when he saw his face and looked down. 

"That's what I thought". Hongjoong jumped into his car and sped off, leaving Seonghwa alone in the street.
