Seonghwa rushed into work 30 minutes late but no one seemed to have noticed his absence. No one but San.

"Seonghwa where have you been"? San asked, walking up to Seonghwa before the older reached his desk

"San quiet. No one else have noticed I just got it", Seonghwa whispered. San sighed.

"Where were you"? San asked softly. Seonghwa didn't answer and looked away. He couldn't say anything. No one could know about him and Hongjoong.

"I-I overslept. My alarm didn't go off".

"Oh. Well that's fine. We all forget once in a while. Anyway, chief wants us to patrol the streets. The racers have been getting more active now". Seonghwa swallowed and nodded. 

"S-sure. Let me just clock in and I'll be out at the car soon". San nodded and disappeared just as his phone went off. He looked at it and smiled to see Hongjoong had messaged him.

Hey can you do me a favour?

Yeah? What is it? 

Can you make sure the racers are off the road. That includes your crew. Chief is sending me and Officer San to patrol the streets cause racers have been more active lately.

I can stop my crew from racing but everyone else don't listen to me.

As long as your crew are off the road. I don't want anything to happen. I gotta go. I'll talk to you later. Love you

Seonghwa put his phone away and grabbed his things. Warning Hongjoong made Seonghwa feel better. He headed outside to the car, where San was waiting. 

"You ready"?

"Y-yeah. Let's go".

Hongjoong walked out of the bedroom and headed downstairs to see his crew in the kitchen.

"Hey guys. We need to stay off the road for a bit. Seonghwa messaged me saying um, he saw police patrolling the streets. He's making sure we're safe". The boys nodded before Wooyoung spoke up.

"Chan wanted to race you today though. Do I tell him it's cancelled then"? Hongjoong groaned and ran his hands through his hair. 

"I can't cancel the race on him... He'll take that as an advantage to try and tell people he's a better racer... I gotta do the race". 

"So you then your ignoring Seonghwa's warning"? Jongho asked.

"Well I can't let Chan take this as an advantage. I can message Seonghwa and have him keep an eye on the roads while we race. And I can hide when the police are near". They nodded and Hongjoong headed to his bedroom. He hated lying to his crew but he was scared what they would think if they found out that Hongjoong was dating an officer. He would be in so much trouble, not only from his crew, but from the whole racing world.
