Katsuki glared at the tilled ceiling. Funny how things can go wrong. One minute they were preparing to begin rescue training then, utter chaos. Villains had somehow gained entry into the USJ and had successfully separated them. Scattering amongst the various zone. Katsuki had landed in a ruined building with shitty hair forcing them to fight together.
The Tuesday had started as it usually had even, with the announcement that they would be taken for special training. The bus drive was calm save for the extras bitching about their quirks and how it wasn't perfectly suited for hero work while Deku spoke with Aizawa about his costume in the front. "Though I think we got off lucky compared to the quirkless over there at; least we have power!"
Katsuki heard that little remark and sighed; he wanted to cuss them out but thought better of it. Were it not for the next comments. "I wonder how many times he had to get on his knees to join our class." "Are you sure it wasn't his mother?" "Like anyone would be associated with that evolutionary dead end. She probably abandoned him as soon as she heard how he failed!"
After that little remark Katsuki's blood boiled as he surged to his feet; he yelled. "What the fuck was that, you assholes!?" Almost immediately, Deku came running from the front of the bus along with Aizawa drawn to Katsuki's yell. The grapeshit was the first to respond. "What are you talking about we said nothing!"
Before Katsuki could verbally flay the little fucker Aizawa arrived looking annoyed. "What the hell is going on over here!?" Deku had a similar expression tinged with pity for Katsuki.
Some of his classmates had the decency to look ashamed but, it was Ponytail that responded first. "We were just; discussing how our quirks and the impact they will make on our hero work when Katsuki misconstrued some of our comments as insults against him. He then started to yell at us get aggressive."
Katsuki snarled in rage. "I didn't misinterpret shit!" But before he could continue he heard Deku sigh loudly. Katsuki's head snapped to the shorter boy to see him look disappointed.
"Kacchan I know things seem pitted against you but not every comment is an attack." Before Katsuki could murder the fucker Aizawa stepped in. "Enough Midoriya you're only making this worse." Slowly he turned to face Katsuki he seemed annoyed but not outwardly hostile Katsuki narrowed his eyes at the man. Thus far he'd proven to be a strict but fair teacher now would be the moment of truth.
Aizawa looked over them calmy he turned to Shitty hair and asked. "Is what Yaoyorozu said true?" The redhead stared down at his hands in contemplation before shaking his head. "No, it's not. Someone made some very rude comments about Bakugou and, he responded as anyone else would." Aizawa nodded while Katsuki shot the redhead a look of surprise.
That look hurt the boy. And for the life of him, Katsuki couldn't figure out why. It's not like they were friends nor had the redhead previously helped him Katsuki so why would he be hurt by Katsuki's surprise?
Uptill this point the boy had proven to be something of a wild card. While he'd never joined his classmate's mockery he'd certainly never stopped it. So this was an interesting revelation. Katsuki narrowed his eyes and Aizawa nearly nodded his head. "I will say this once: I shall brook not fighting within this class If I catch any starting fights I'll expel you on the spot."
Yaoyorozu nodded mutely shocked as did Katsuki. Still, the look of betrayal his classmates had shot shitty hair had been worth it. After that, they kept quiet as did Katsuki. Upon their arrival at the USJ, they were greeted by the sight of hardened criminals and that of a man child. Which is when they were separated.
He'd landed with shitty hair after their mistake. The ambush was quick and brutal. Shitty hair activated his quirk and started to whittle down his opponents. Katsuki dodged a haymaker and slammed his fist into the scaled thug's jaw; it didn't break like he would have liked but, the cry of pain would have to be enough.
