MANAGER
↠ So, y/n. We recently noticed you working overtime and a bit harder than others.
Y/N
↠ Sorry sir, whatever I did....... What did you say sir???
MANAGER
↠We want to reward you for working really hard. We know you're saving up to go to college, that's why you work overtime almost everyday for the past 2– 3 months. So, we decided to pay your scholarship fee in full!

Everyone started clapping for y/n, and her face was priceless. I think she is happy but speechless at the same time.

I was getting ready to hear the words your fired, I got soo stunned about what my manager said that he paid my scholarship in full.
I was so happy to know that I can finally go to college. I immediately ran and hugged everyone, and showed my gratitude. I mean who wouldn't be happy to go to college.
They threw a small party for me, obviously everybody else got drunk and I had to drop them home. Many people confessed their love for each other, and others just started speaking openly.
It was good to finally see a side that we all are family to each other. I called my closest friends Lewis and Sophie, and let them know that we will be finally going to college together.
Y/N POV
So, another introduction for my friends and coworkers. Me, Lewis and Sophie have been best friends before my parents died. They were all I had since I lost my parents and brother. So they're basically family, Lewis is 2 months older than me and Sophie a month and a half younger(*so it's the perfect mix).
We all studied at the same school, same class, and planned on going to the same college. But, due to my scholarship fee we were quite sad that I couldn't go, that is until god blessed me and my manager paid my scholarship. (* SO EXCITED).
My coworkers, well we all met at the hardware store 3 to 4 years ago (yes, I have been working since my young age) They helped and basically raised me through high school. I would ask them for help if needed, and they would gladly do it. When I had joined the store, everyone was finishing university and college.
So currently everyone has settled down, except me. My journey has just started, luckily because they finished this phase they did warn me about a few things which have actually helped out a lot.
