Y/n looked at Harry once he returned from the competition thingy.
"Hello mr. Winner." she said and she kissed him.
"You guys got company." Jay said as he rolled his eyes.
Harry eyes at him before wrapping his arms around y/n's waist and kissing her again.
"Okay, enough. A few more hours 'till Ben's coronation. We got to get the wand." Mal said and y/n looked at her.
"Great, mrs. Controll freak is back."
Gil chuckled and Evie glared at him.
"Hey guys!" Ben's voice said and the seven VK's turned.
"Ben!" Mal said with a... fake(?) smile.
"Congrats with the victory man." Ben said towards Harry, who replied with a nod... not sure what he should've said.
"So mr. Soon-to-be-king." Carlos joked and Ben swallowed.
"Yea... Is it weird that I'm actually nervous?"
"No." Y/n said dryly.
"Yea, you soon got an entire kingdom counting on you." Gil said and Ben sighed.
"Not helping." Mal sissed.
"Aww, second girl worried about her boyfriend." Jay said and this time both y/n and Mal glared at him, causing him to step backwards.
"Hey Mal, I was actually hoping that you would go out with me ebfore the coronation?" Ben asked and no one believed it was a fake smile which appeared on Mal her face as she replied.
"Yes, I'd like that." she said and Harry chuckled briefly before getting swatted by y/n.
Mal felt bad, knowing she'd betray the boy she was actually falling in love with.
"Hey Ben, on second thought... Maybe you should just, prepare for the coronation or something..." she said as they walked by the enchanted lake.
"You're probably right... But not before we had our little date." Ben said and Mal chuckled.
"Okay, okay..." she mumbled.
Ben looked at her after a few minutes.
"Wait here, okay?" he asked and Mal nodded.
Then she saw Ben in swimming trunks on a rock on the other side of the lake.
"Are those crowns on your trunks?" Mal asked and Ben smiled.
"Maybe?"
Then he jumped into the lake.
"What are you doing?" Mal asked with slight concern.
"Taking a swim. The enchanted lake isn't just known for washing spells away, but also for helping people get rid of their nerves."
Mal turned pale.
"W- what did you say?"
"That the enchanted lake isn't just known for washing spells away, but also for helping people get rid of their nerves?" Ben repeated and Mal started to feel dizzy.
"Oh don't worry about your love spell. I still love you." Ben said and Mal looked at him.
"You knew!?"
"Well... You did use it on y/n so she'd fall in love with Harry... I kinda noticed when you tried so hard getting me to eat the cookie."
"Don't tell y/n and Harry!" Mal sissed and Ben got out of the water.
"I think that y/n already was in love with Harry but sure...?" Ben mumbled as he dried himself.
