33. Oh dear...

Harry sighed, that Saturday he had to take care of the twins. He promised Mal...
Since he'd go with y/n to the isle, which he did.
Luckily for him y/n offered to help him out a bit.
"They're so cute... just how? With Maleficent and Captain Hook ss parents..." y/n said and Harry chuckled softly.
"Y'know, despite the fact that my dad hooked up with Maleficent... I suppose they are kinda... cute."
"Awww big brother vibes!" Y/n exclaimed as she was holding Melissa in her arms.
"Oh shut up, I was already a big brother before these two. I also got a 5 year younger sister called Cj." Harry said and y/n arched her eyebrow.
"How come you never mentioned her before?"
"It just... It didn't came up."
"There's more behind it."
"It's not important..." Harry mumbled, but y/n could see he was hurting.
"Harry..." she said as she placed one hand on his arm.
"I-"
Then Jace started to cry, saving Harry from the conversation and Harry sighed.
"You really are the cryer of the two of you, aren't you?" he complained softly as he tried to rock him to sleep.
"It's adorable to see you with him like that. Being gentle and all." Y/n said softly and Harry eyed at her.
"Carefull there."
"Or what?" Y/n said challenging and Harry seemed like he was studying her.
"What? Do I have something on my face?" Y/n asked and Harry grinned.
"I just... Forget it."
"No, say it. Come on..." y/n nearly begged.
"It's stupid..."
"So? Have you seen what stupid mess we've been through so far?"
Y/n looked at Harry.
"Something's bothering you..."
"Let's just say... this is the closest I'd ever have in having a family myself..." he mumbled.
"What do you...?" Y/n wanted to asked but she trailed off, it seemed a stupid question yet she wasn't exactly sure how Harfy meant it.
But she could tell he was hurt by it.
"Nevermind..." she added quickly and Harry put Jace back in the crib (which FGM arranged) when he was asleep.
"It doesn't matter..." Harry mumbled and
Y/n looked at her boyfriend.
"Harry... I... I want to understand you... But I can't if you keep secrets..." she said softly.
Melissa was starting to cry and y/n dropped her attantion from Harry to the baby girl in her arms.
"Hey... sh..." she said and she sat back down on the edge of her bed.
She agreed in letting the crib and the two babies stay in her room. Since she was fine with it and since otherwise it would be a big fuz with Harry and Mal and the others.
Harry sighed and he looked at y/n.
"I know that you're right y/n... and it's the least I could do... But it's not that easy..." he mumbled and Melissa started to calm down a bit.
Y/n didn't look up from the little girl.
"I bet I'd have many secrets too... But I'd have to figure them out too, since I still try to figure out my past... But so far, everything I learned... I shared it with you..." she said and she felt tears burn behind her eyes.
Harry sat down next to y/n, wrapping his ark around her...
"I'm sorry... I know I've been a jerk-"
"Putting it mildly."
"Hey, I'm trying to apologise okay!"
They both chuckled a bit and Melissa giggled softly.
"Oh my gosh... that was so cute..." y/n nearly squealed.
Harry chuckled briefly with a smile.
"That was the first time she giggled..."
"I feel so bad for Mal that she missed it! It was adorable!"
"About what I said earlier I-"
"Forget what I said Harry, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to..." y/n interrupted him.
"I shouldn't be pushing you to tell things of your past if you don't want to." Y/n said and Harry looked at her.
"But you were right, I shouldn't keep secrets from you..." he said and y/n leaned her head on his shoulder as she still held Melissa in her arms.
"Someone's feeling left out..." y/n mumbled as Jace started to make whining noises.
She lifted her head off Harry's shoulder as he got up to pick Jace up.
Then he returned with Jace in his arms to his former spot and y/n placed her head on his shoulder again.
"How do you think our future would look like?" Y/n asked softly and Harry's eyes widend.
"Our future?" he repeated with slight panick in his voice.
"Yea, I mean we know thanks to the funny moments during Ben's coronation that we share true love... So I fugured we'd stick together..." y/n mumbled.
"Y- yea... I just... I never thought about it like that... You know I'm always scared to lose you."
"Trust me, after what happened during our little fieldtrip to the isle... the feeling is mutual."
Harry looked away.
"I... I don't think our future would be that exciting though..."
"Oh come on, picture this. You and me, a place to ourselves... Maybe even one or teo of these little ones which we could raise... knowing they'd be our little kids or-"
"Y/n that would never happen." Harry said coldly.
"You don't know that." Y/n said with half a chuckle but she felt that Harry stiffened.
