Today wasn't one of Lia's best days. She woke up to a terrible stomach cramp as it was that time of the month. Because of the cramp, she decided to stay 10 minutes more in bed, which means she had to skip breakfast. She missed the bus and had to walk to school on foot. She got scolded by the discipline master, that she should set an example to the others since she was on Student Council. On top of that, Lia had forgotten to pack her Maths homework she stayed up all night to do, which led to her being scolded by the teacher in front of her classmates.

So, yeah. It wasn't the best.

As punishment, Lia had to overtake one of the council's lunch duties, so that meant she had to miss lunch as well.

Lia made her rounds, looking over the students lazily as she trudged on the school grounds, rubbing her empty stomach which didn't help the cramps as well. She spotted Soobin, who also had lunch duty, and waved at him, smiling tiredly at him. He gave a pitiful look as he mouthed the words 'fighting!', pumping his fist in the air.

Lia chuckled before going to the lockers.

"Why are you crying? We didn't even do anything!" Lia's ears perked up hearing a girl scoff, followed by giggles. Lia sighed as she shook her head, walking toward the voice.

Lia folded her arms, watching the small girl bow her head down, trembling at the hands of her seniors. Just as one of them raised their hand, Lia cleared her throat. They looked over to her as Lia raised an eyebrow.

"Bullying is against the school rules. Should I take you to the principal?" she hummed, walking toward the girls. Lia patted the small girl's shoulder, smiling comfortingly at her.

"Why are you interfering? We were just talking." one of the girls said rather nervously. Lia looked over at them in disgust before grabbing the hand of the one who wanted to hit the younger girl. Lia scoffed as she raised her hand, smirking as she raised her eyebrows.

"Since when did we use our hands to talk?" Lia scanned the girl up and down before saying mockingly,

"You weren't thinking of hitting her, were you?" She averted her eyes, nervous.

Lia sighed before letting go of the girl's hand, taking out her pen and notepad from her pocket.

"Tell me your names and classes." they recited their names, nervous around the authority of Lia.

"I expect to see all of you in detention. Don't even think of skipping, I'm in charge." Lia grabbed the small girl's arm gently as they sauntered off, leaving the girl speechless.

"Thank you so much, unnie!" the small girl piped up, looking at Lia with adoring eyes. Lia chuckled, ruffling the little girl's hair.

"What's your name sweetie?" Lia smiled, tugging a hair strand behind her ear.

"My name is Dae-mi, but I like people to call me Kwon. It's my surname..." she smiled shyly, looking down at her fingers. Lia smiled fondly as she bent down to face the girl.

"Well, call me Lia. I see a lot of potential in you, Kwon. How about considering taking the Student Council as your leadership role when you're older?" Kwon gasped, nodding her head eagerly.

Lia chuckled before telling Kwon to enjoy the last of the lunch period. She straightened her posture to realize that Soobin was leaning against the lockers, smiling at Lia. Lia turned bright red as her lips formed into a pout, walking to Soobin.

"Go have some food before the lunch break is over, you look quite pitiful." Lia glared at Soobin before running off to the canteen, hoping to buy a last-minute snack. Soobin chuckled seeing Lia's already tiny figure get smaller and smaller.

Lia skimmed through her messages as she walked toward the detention room. The girls were supposedly there, considering lessons ended 40 minutes ago.

Lia opened the door only to get splashed in the face with extremely cold water. Lia gasped as her eyes instinctively closed afraid the water would get in her eyes.

She felt herself being pushed down into a chair, the hands never leaving her shoulders. Another pair of hands held her hands, the trio cackling evilly.

"This is what you get for trying to stop us!"

"Oh my god, I never thought I'd be this kind of person in the fanfictions."

"Shut up!"

"I'm not the one with the stank breath!"

The silence after was satisfying. The pea-brained girls of course couldn't think of a comeback.

"UGH, whatever!

Lia felt something falling on her. Only when it started to harden did she know what they just did.

"Did you literally pour flour on me?" Lia scoffed, glancing at her uniform dotting with white.

"Do you guys just randomly bring flour to school? Y'all are weirder than I thought." Lia laughed, shaking her head.

"What's happening here?" a familiar voice came from the door. The hands left her alone before Lia huffed, brushing off the flour from her skirt.

"Ugh, now I can't see. At least I don't have to see your faces." Lia groaned, pushing the one nearest her.

"Let's go, Lia." Soobin sighed, giving a quick glare to the girls, telling them to sit their asses down.

Soobin wiped Lia's face with a paper towel. Lia's eyes finally fluttered open before Soobin passed her the paper towel. Lia sighed as she took it from his hand, wiping her face and clothes.

"Thanks." Lia sighed, throwing the paper towel in the bin.

"You should go home, I'll send them to the principal's office." Lia smiled thankfully as she nodded happily, waving him away.

However, Lia waited at the front of the school. She didn't know why. But when she saw the tall boy, an adorable grin on his face and the most pokable dimples, she knew why.

They walked home together, both enjoying each other's presence secretly.
