"Hey!! Helmet girl!!!! Haha so you dumb girl...
After all of us were done with dinner we all were sitting in the living room and just talking casually. Daneen and Dani were telling us about how they met and things weren't seem to be matching up or lining up with the way Dani is. Everything was a little awkward between Dani, Daneen, Ruby, Zee and me. There was tension between us which could easily be sensed by Zo but not by Ammi or by Abbu.
"Daneen beta now that you are going to be staying here, it is quiet obvious that you won't be sleeping in the same room as Daniyal as you both are yet not married. The guest room will be take by Daniyal so you can sleep with Rabi and Ruby. Please make yourself at home and if you need anything at all just let us know.", Abbu said adding more awkwardness to the atmosphere.
Ruby and I looked at each other and sighed silently, I had sensed some tension and everyone knows I hate being in those type of situations, I wondered why Ammi never spoke a word because she knows I become vulnerable in these situation and either mess up the situation or mess up my self. I can't do that now, I have to control my emotions. Daneen already is not really fond of me and I don't want to lose Daniyal because of some petty misunderstanding between Daneen and me.
Ruby, I and Daneen were just headed upstairs when Dani called out my name and said, "Rani, wait I have something for you, here take this and wear it always", he said while handing over the red velvet box to me. I opened it and revealed a lovely butterfly pendant, Dani knew I loved butterflies and that's what he got me. "Oh Allah! Dani this is beautiful, I love it thank you so much!" I said while giving him a hug while he pecked my forehead. I have always thought of Dani as my twin brother, he is so great and protects me like his own sister just like how Zee and Zo protect me.
"Alright time to go, I am very tired and Oh I forgot to mention one thing I cannot sleep on the ground due to my back issues", Daneen said while looking at me. "Don't worry Daneen you can take my bed I'll lay the extra mattress down and sleep.", I said while giving her a smile, it never bothered me because whenever Dadi (Grandmother- Father's side) used to visit us I used to sleep down or in the guest room.
"Daneen this is not right, how can you let Rani sleep on the floor in he own room while you sleep on her bed.", Dani told Daneen visibly annoyed. "Oh come on Danny, she doesn't mind and you know I genuinely have an issue, you really don't mind Rabia do you?", she told Dani while asking me. "Oh don't worry Dani, chill I am good", I told Dani reassuringly.
So we went upstairs and were off to bed in no time. But Ruby and I couldn't sleep knowing something was off between Zee and Daneen so we decided to head to Zee's room to see if he was awake and to talk to him.
~knock knock~
"Hey Zee, are you awake?", Ruby knocked while I asked.
"Yes ladies, come on in!", we entered and saw him sitting in his bed while his head buried into his phone. "So what brings you into my room in middle of the night, new guest a pain in the ass already?", Ruby laughed and nodded while I sighed in disbelief. "No, she is asleep and not a pain at all.", I told him in a serious tone and he rolled his eyes at me. "Speaking of our Pain in the ass guest Zee what are those weird vibes you both were giving out simultaneously?", Ruby asked.
"What weird vibes?", Zee asked acting weird.
Ruby and I sighed and looked at him keeping a poker face, we knew he would give in and he did.
"Alright I'll tell you both what's the matter but you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone about it especially the cringy Daniyal", he said while looking at me. I rolled my eyes at him and promised to keep my mouth shut.
"So Daneen is not what she seems to be, she is a gold digger, and is with Daniyal only because of his money, I now this because Daneen and I have been together for a few months when she thought I was rich as she saw me once in Zohaib's car and she asked if she could get a ride. So I told her no because it was not my car and as a joke I said it's my friend's car I am not that rich only because she does not ask for a ride again. From that day onwards she started to act weird, distant and ignorant. Soon when I asked what was wrong she said that she wants to split because I won't be able to take care of her needs and then she asked about zohaib because obviously she thought it was his car and he is rich so I told her he is my friend and is engaged. I don't know what happened later on and now I am seeing her with that dumb face Daniyal, I hate him but still feel bad for him.
"That bitch!", Ruby cursed while simultaneously I said, "Oh Zee maybe she has changed and realized that she wronged you and is repenting now, you know you can't just judge someone.", and they both sighed and rolled their eyes at me. While the both whispered "typical Rabia" simultaneously.
"Raabu listen to me, she is not a good person trust me, just stay out of her way she is the jealous and insecure kind and will go to any lengths to make the person's life miserable by whom she feels threatened and you are that person for now. You know why because Daniyal cares for you and loves you even more than himself or any other person on this planet, for her you are Daniyal's cousin she does not know the truth about the whole Mehram thing. I will tell one instance that happened with me, once I was just going around a corner and a girl was too we both bumped into each other her things fell and she fell down too, I helped her up and also picked her things for her, Daneen saw all this and got super furious. Later it turns out that the girl goes to the same class as Daneen's and then you won't believe it but the girl ended up with no hair and severely injured when I picked her up from the class I asked her about what happened to that girl, she said that this is what happens when someone tries to steal what's hers. I asked her what she had done but she refused to tell me anything and just had a creepy wicked smug on her face. She is evil please stay away from her.", Zee told us everything and was now kind of creeped out a little bit.
"We should tell all this to Daniyal", A voice came from the behind us and we turned back scared as hell hoping no one heard us but someone did it was Zo.
"Oh god Zo you gave us a heart-attack, are you crazy to be snooping up on us this way?!", I scream whispered so no one else hears us.
"Oh yes then you should lock the door and speak softly from next time!", we rolled our eyes a him and Ruby indicated him to sit with us. I was happy how we four were back together and now Alhumdulilah everyone trusted Ruby. Zo came and sat between me and Ruby he put his hand around Ruby and they sat there so cutely so I quickly snapped a picture of them without anyone noticing.

I quickly whispered "Masha Allah" under my breath.
"Daniyal would never trust any of us, plus Daneen is a very good manipulator, she will never let Daniyal even give a second thought to what we are saying about her.", said Zee.
"Look we don't know if Daneen is the same as she met Zee, maybe she changed after meeting and getting engaged to Dani.", I said and they all patted their forehead in disbelief, after which I rolled my eyes at them.
"Alright that is enough for today, now lets go to sleep.....wait!! If she has changed so much after meeting Daniyal why has she not told Daniyal about Zee and her being together...", Ruby pointed out and we all looked at her because she was right, she should have told Daniyal about Zee and her having a past.
"Lets think what we can do and talk about it tomorrow. Someone will have to become the bad guy here if we want to help Daniyal and kick Daneen out.", Zo said and I immediately said, "I'll do it!! Daniyal loves me he will forgive me but with me Zee will also become the bad guy because he is was in a relationship with Daneen."
"That's no problem anything to kick that gold digger out of here.", Zee said and we rolled our eyes at his typical behaviour.
"Goodnight boys!", Ruby said while we all got up from our places ready to go to bed.
Zo pecked mine and Ruby's forehead before we departed while zee hugged us and blew a dua he read on us, I smiled at how everything was so great, just how I wanted it to be, Alhumdulilah Ruby held back a tear, I could see she was so happy.
Zee was ready to sleep while Zo went to his room and Ruby and I went to ours.
I slept on the mattress laid down and soon fell into a deep slumber with only one thing on my mind how do we get Daneen to tell about her and Zee.
