Really short chapter. Sorry. I felt it had to be ended where I ended it.

We walk through the hallways back tracking to the lobby. Anne says hello to Betty and leads me into a door to the left of the front desk. Similar to the hallway we just came from, we pass multiple rooms.

My tummy suddenly does a few backflips taking me by surprise. That was weird.

"These rooms are used more often than the ones at the other end of the hospital. The operating rooms are down here as well." Anne informs. "Most of the staff can be found in these halls and upstairs."

At the end we come to a set of elevators and go in to ride to the second floor. As the doors shut us in I feel a strange current in the air. It makes the hair on my neck stand at attention. Rubbing my hand against my neck I shake my head thinking its weird nerves or something.

The doors open on to the scond floor and I find myself in a large common area. It is a big open space with couches and tables. There are a few patients walking around holding onto wheeling poles with IV drips attatched. Across the room is another corridor leading to what I assume is more rooms.

"This is basically where patients can recover. We have a cafeteria further down the hall but most of the rooms on this floor are used for recovery. I'm sure you notice the hospital is quite full of people." Anne points out to me.

"Yes I'm surprised considering this is a city full of wolves." we make out way over to one of the large open bay windows that over look the massive park that was mentioned by Winnifred earlier.

The rippling current floats in the air again like electrical shocks. I rub my arms to make the feeling go away but it only seems to get stronger. Why am I acting this way?

"There you two are!" I turn from the window to see Celeste coming over to us.

"I was just showing Valena the rest of the hospital before we make our way to find you. How was loverboy?" Anne taunts her.

"His name is Stephen and he isn't a loverboy!" she actually stomps her foor. If I wasnt feeling so weird right now I might actually laugh at that.

"Yeah sure." she seems unconvinced. "I was about to explain the odd number of patients we have here."

"Oh right. Yeah the hospital is usually always this busy believe it or not." Celeste points out.

"This hospital is home to very skilled healers. We often get patients from out of the city who come here because their packs don't have the resources. Its really quite a great thing, to help all these people. Not only that but there are a surprising amount of humans that live here." Okay that was a surprise.

"Most of those humans that live here are born into a werewolf family but don't carry the wolf gene... so of course they know about us...but there are a few who simply find out one way or another and seek refuge here or perhapss there are even those who are mated to a wolf themselves. Each circumstance is different but rest assured you will be kept busy here. If we aren't working we are learning and experimenting and expanding our knowledge."

"I suppose that all explains it. It's no-" I am cut of by a delightful breeze wafting through the window. Something in the air today...I don't know its like....I can't explain. I feel anxious. It's putting me on edge.

"Val?" I turn to see Celeste and Anne looking at me waiting.

"Uh yeah...sorry...I'm feeling anxious for some reason....but yeah it explains why there are so many peo-" tingles shoot up my spine and I turn to look out the window again. "What is that?" I mutter to myself.
