A beautiful family,
A beautiful Manor,
Soon to meet a terrible fate,
Oh but how ?
If only they knew,
The paint that covered the outside of the manor was as white as the fluffiest clouds,
A door as red as the freshest blood,
The sun, setting behind the manor,
Gave a bright orange hue,
Tinting the sky of yellow and blue,
A garden filled with bunches of flowers,
The dew on the petals reflect the last light of the day,
Looking as if they were jewels placed on jade green towers,
A beautiful mother with eyes of sapphires called her young children in for dinner,
The children heard and ran into her embrace,
And told her about their day As the sunset got dimmer,
The father sat at the dining table,
A warm smile on his face,
What A lovely family The Sullivans,
Such a tragic destiny,
but why...?
CRACK
BOOM
Clouds as dark as lead fill the sky,
A thunder bolt strikes a once beautiful oak tree,
Creeeeeeaaaak
BOOM
Falling on the manor, the tree split the roof into two,
The rain pounding as sharp as needles,
The wind as cold as the heart of a wicked witch,
As fast as as a jet,
The Manor is as dark as pitch
As The Sullivans cower away,
Holding their scared sons,
As the wind makes the trees sway,
CRACK
BOOM
Lightning strikes again with a deafening echo following after,
It did not hit a tree,
Nor a mouse,
Nor a flea,
But the house,
A portrait,
Was all that was left of the family,
Two smiling sons, with hair of gold and eyes of crystals,
Their parents embracing them,
All smiling as if there were no worries,
The moon shines upon the tragedy,
As the Neighbors gather around,
Praying that they made it to heaven,
But to the house the family was bound,
The clouds cleared the sky,
And all was silent,
Until a woman gave a loud cry,
Years later neighbors steered clear of the house,
Haunted by evil spirits is what children believed,
But the family’s souls were still kind,
Even to the only company they had left, a small mouse.
