This novel is a sequel of Tinker Bell franchise (2008-2015), a prequel of Peter Pan franchise (1953, 2002), a midquel of The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning...
Athena woke up and found herself on a completely unkown island. This island was Neverland.

Athena: What happened? Where am I?
Athena started looking for her family.
Athena: Triton! Girls! Where are you?!
Athena swam out to sea and continued to look for her family.
Athena: Triton! Girls! Where are you?!
Then some pirates emerged from the bushes and captured Athena, who was bound. The pirates immediately took Athena to their ships, the Jolly Roger.
On the ship, the pirates took Athena to the captain, who introduced himself.
Hook: Greetings beautiful mer-lady! My name is Captain James Hook! I'm glad to meet you! What is your name?
Athena: Athena. Queen Athena of Atlantica!
Hook: [gasp] A queen? Oh, how honorable it is to meet a blue-blooded woman, I mean "mermaid". [giggle] What a beautiful mermaid you are!
Athena: Ahm, thank you. But what do you want from me?
Hook: Nothing! But you will only be bait!
Athena: [scared] What?!
Hook: You will be very good food for the crocodile!
Athena: [gasp] Oh no!
Hook: Tie her up, boys!
Pirates: Aye, Captain!
Then the pirates tied Athena and moored over the water for the crocodile to eat. But then...
Peter Pan: [crowing]
A boy appeared. This boy was Peter Pan.

Peter Pan: Hello, Captain! I am Peter Pan! I order you to realease this mermaid immediately!
Hook: [laughter]

Hook: Never! Until I got the blue pixie dust from the pixies!
Peter Pan: I won't leave that!
Peter quickly defeated the pirates and freed Athena. Peter rescued Athena as quickly as he could and flew off the ship with her. Hook was just furious as Mr. Smee tried to calm him down.
In the air, Athena began to speak to Peter.
Athena: Thank you for rescuing me from the pirates.
Peter Pan: You're welcome! Sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet. I am Peter Pan. And you?
Athena: Athena. Queen Athena of Atlantica!
Peter Pan: A queen? That's amazing! I've never seen you before. Where are you from? From "Atlantica"?
Athena: Yes. From Atlantica. But this is not important now. Tell me, what the blue pixie dust is?
Peter Pan: Okay. The blue pixie dust is a stronger version of the normal pixie dust. And a lot of pixie dust can be made from the blue pixie dust. The pixie dust helps pixies fly. But it's not just for pixies. Even humans and animals can fly from the pixie dust. It seems that Hook has been wanting this dust from the pixies for a while.
Athena: But why did he caught me if he wants this dust?
Peter Pan: I don't know. Maybe you were the bait for the pixies. Or maybe he just did it for fun.
Athena: Fun? Fun?! I didn't enjoy it. I could have died.
Peter Pan: I agree with you, Your Majesty. That was not funny.
Athena: But back to this dust topic, and even mermaids can fly from this dust?
Peter Pan: Maybe yes. But I've never seen a mermaid fly under the influence of the pixie dust.
Athena looked down at the ground.
Athena: Uhm, Peter...where did you bring me?
Peter Pan: To my home.
Peter took Athena to the Hangman's Tree.
