So the first two segments take place before the last chapter by a couple of weeks, I couldn't place it before for some reason it wouldn't let me edit, so the grammar mistakes too, sorry about that guys, hope this makes sense though for yas

"A ball?" Alan repeated
"So explain why us?" I asked leaning back in my wheely chair
"Because you both match the fake identities we need. And you need to act like a couple so you both would be best" Jeff said
"We'd be best to act like a couple?" I asked
"Yes, you both have a good friendship that I'd played right could look like love" mum nodded
"Why can't it be Gordon then?" I asked
"Because he's too old, we need you both to do this. That's final" mum said
I sighed with a nod

"I can't believe we have to do this" Alan grumbled as we walked into the ballroom
"Hmmm, so long as our appearance distracts mum getting into the control room. Besides, it could be fun" I beamed at him
"Maybe" he shrugged

We walked around the hall for a while, socialising and having fun.
"want to dance?" Alan asked offering me his hand
"Sure" I smiled taking his hand in mine

We walked into the dance floor, and took our waltz stance together, before we joined the new dance. We glided together perfectly, each step in line, our bodies matching.
I looked at the boys eyes just slightly above mine. They were like the ocean and sky meeting. So clear and blue
But his eyes were glued to mine, gazing into my green orbs. I couldn't help but soften under his gaze,  i don't understand how he has this affect on me

Subconsciously we leaned into the other, but before our lips meet, the fast paced violins stopped causing us to take a sharp breath and to pull back from the other

"Let's go get punch" Alan led us off the floor
My heart was racing and I couldn't control it, I had wanted to kiss him, I want to. And so did he

~~~~~~
It was summer and I was spending the month at Tracy island while mum had a month long mission. I never enjoyed the long periods of time when she had to go undercover and leave me
"He didn't" I laughed with Tintin
We were both sitting outside on the deck chairs with a sandwich between us for a snack
"He did, and then when the coconuts fell. He put the basket on his head" she laughed
The two of us in a giggling fit
"What has the ladies attention" Scott asked joining us with his brothers
"Not you sad lot" I replied smugly
"Awwww, that's mean" Gordon said before canon balling into the pool and Virgil jumped after him
"Why do you hate us so, my dear Lily" John asked with a fake hurt
"Not you, him" I pointed at Alan who looked shocked
"Me?" He asked
"Yes you" I rolled my eyes
Tintin chuckled too, she knew why I was being cold. It was International confess your crush day last week, and Alan hadn't come to me like I'd been hoping, so since then I've been mean
"Awwwww, are you sad Alan hasn't talked to you Lily" Gordon asked from the pool edge
"I don't care what he does" I shrugged
"We don't care" Tintin corrected me
I smiled and pointed at her with a 'see' face
"If you don't care, then kiss him" Virgil grinned
"What!" Alan and I asked
"Kiss him" Scott nodded
I looked over my shoulder at the boy sitting directly behind me, he looked absolutely gobsmaxked
Without thinking, I grabbed the back of his head and pushed our lips together. His eyes stayed open for a second but I felt his eyelashes flutter closed. Although I'd pushed us into it, it was soft and a gentle peck.
I knew for appearances I had to pull back, but god I wanted to just melt into the kiss more, he was so gentle but I had to pull away
So very reluctantly I pulled away, and my eyes flew open, turning back to Gordon
"See, don't care" I shrugged with a smirk
Alan behind me was as red as a tomato, his face held the look of shock.
