He shook his head and looked at the ground then back into your eyes with what could only be described as pure guilt and remorse.

"(Y/n)...My classmates...We-we're under attack by the League of Villains."

...

You honestly had no idea how to respond. You had only heard so much about the League of Villains from the news, which made it unnerving for you.

This stuff isn't supposed to be happening to you, you're just a normal kid. How did you get in this mess? Why was this all happening so fast? Is this the price you pay when you become friends with hero's?

Well...They're not hero's. No yet at least. But nonetheless, you were scared. Terrified to your very core. "How the hell did I end up in this situation? It's all happening so fast...I'm scared. I'm really, really scared."

Time seemed to blur over as it played out around you.

You shook where you stood. Tenya...his friends and yours, they were in trouble but it's not like you could do anything. You had to watch as this poor, shaken man tried to direct the rest of the pros to the USJ with what could only be described as fear hidden under his calm demeanor.

You didn't want to leave, but you felt it was for the best. Although it's dangerous to be out by yourself, you couldn't grasp the thought of how scary it was to be in that situation. Especially for Tenya.

While he wasn't looking, you went back inside and gathered your belongings. While in the locker room you caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. Completely disheveled, especially with the whole situation that was still going on outside.

You didn't even know if you had it in you to change back into your school uniform. But regardless, you did anyways.

Straightening yourself up in the mirror, you splashed cool water onto your face to help calm your nerves down. Only then realizing your hands were uncontrollably shaking. You let out a breath you didn't even know you had in you and gripped the counter of the sink in-front you.

As you exited, you were met with Tenya in the distance. Gearing up to leave for the USJ again but he had a distraught look on his face. He had every right to. As quickly as you could, you made your way to the nearest station to go back home. Being wary of staying out of his sight.

You ran, not really knowing why your body wanted to. The only reasonable option though, was being filled with an uncontrollable fight or flight sense. You knew you couldn't help. You figured the safest option for you was to get away and let Tenya work. He was the one training to be a hero after all.

Coming to an abrupt stop at the nearest bus stop, you quickly steadied your balance and sunk down onto the bench to let the whole situation reminisce in your head and play over again.

"I'm so sorry Tenya, but it's better if I'm not in your way right now." You mumbled to yourself as you ran a hand down your face.
