You smiled at him and nodded your head, letting him guide you to the station. His hand on your back made you smile to yourself, but you didn't want him to take it off. Making small talk, he just stared at you and added his occasional commentary and stories of his own.

"I'm going to make sure you get the life you deserve, no matter what it takes. You will always be safe with me. I promise you that, (Y/n)."

The mall wasn't as crowded as you guys thought it would be. Making for a convenient trip. Tenya bought you a few small things as well as things you tried on and liked. Even though you repeatedly told him it wasn't necessary and you didn't need it.

He was always stubborn with things though, insisting that he was there to let you enjoy your day. Although you did get him a few things he mentioned needing for training and just general everyday life. But the mall interaction went way to fast.

The weekend soon arrived, giving you zero time with Tenya. You both tried to text each other throughout the day, but he was training for hours at a time. Honing his skills for the upcoming sports festival.

Of course you planned on going. You're friends were participating, and you felt the need to support Tenya and all of his hard earned efforts.

Laying sideways on your bed, you scrolled through social media. Awaiting a text from Tenya as well as doing something to pass the time. Your homework was already done, so it's not like you had the option of doing that.

Rolling onto your back, you set your phone down next to you. Having hero's as your friends sucked. It always meant they had something to do when you didn't. Leaving you to sulk in your room until you had somewhere to be.

"Maybe I could visit Tenya today...But I don't know when he's free". You tossed around the idea, debating if you should bother him or not.

Laughing internally, you came to a conclusion.
"Yeah, he needs me to bother him sometimes".

Picking up your phone, you shot him a text. Hoping your slight nagging would get him to text you back. Sure you valued how hard he trained, but he really needed a distraction most of the time. Plus, you missed having him around.

Whatever spell that man has you under, it's definitely working. But to your surprise, he responded fairly quick.

Oh? Well I wish I could see you this weekend, but you know how important it is for me to maintain training. As well as keeping my peers in line too. It's very exhausting

You did sympathize with him, though. Especially since you knew how difficult it was to train first hand. And all you did was run and work your stamina.
