i was walking down the street to enya and drew's house for a small hangout with the crew.

as i was approaching the gate, i saw finn getting out of nick's car.

"okay take care. call me if you need me....oh, hey y/n!" nick looks and waves at me

i look at nick and wave back.

Finn's POV

i look back to see Y/N. she's my best friend. i've known her since i moved to a new school school for 8th grade back in canada. Yeah, we're from the same school and we both go to LA to visit the crew. first time i talked to her, we instantly clicked. turns out she likes my favorite films and bands. like MacD, Twin peaks, PUP, SWMRS, Wilco, and much more.

"hey finnlard, quit staring" y/n says as i realize i was staring. i noticed that nick had already drove away too.

"i was not staring y/n/n. we should head inside now before drew drinks all the redbull" i say

and we open the gate and knock on the door.

Enya/Ernie's POV

where the fuck are these bitches.

"yo guys y'all sure finn and y/n are coming its getting late" i shout to the group

drew, josh, orion, lucas, christian and josiah all look up at me with a confused expression

"they're invited?"

"they're probs sucking eachother's face"

"i hope the fuck they get kidnapped on the way"

"having sex probably"

"josiah shut the fuck up you-"

then we all hear the gate open and rush to enya's room to look out the window

"SLAYYY THEY'RE HERE" orion shouts

NO ONE'S POV

christian rushes down the stairs to open the door for the two to come in

"good you're here, lucas didnt even know you guys were invited"

"we thought you guys were sucking face" drew added

Y/N glared at drew and throws a paper bag full of food in his arms

"bitch shut the fuck up we literally saw eachother outside"

"yeah then sucked face" enya said

finn just stares at the whole scene while Y/N and enya throw insults at eachother

"okay okay lets go to the living room now, your entryway is so fucking small it cant even fit drew in here" finn states out

"yeah cuz my ass is so fat lets go" drew says

as the group was hanging out, talking, making jokes, and doing one of those skits josh does for his youtube channel, Y/N noticed that finn had been glancing at them from time to time. they wondered why. but of course being an unbothered bitch they didn't mind it at all.

until they started exchanging glances with him.
she would notice the smallest things finn does. like touching his eyes and covering his mouth when he laughs, him touching his lips all the time for some reason, and him doing that one face he does when he's in an awkward situation

they thought he was pretty.

they were mesmerized by him.

after the group did all their shit, they all decided to stay over for the night since it was like 12am already.

orion, josiah and lucas didnt stay over because they had stuff to do the next day. orion had an interview and josiah and lucas had band stuff to do. (stan greer)

finn and Y/N were told to sleep in the guest room.

y/n borrowed enya's clothes and finn borrowed josh's clothes.

finn and y/n couldn't sleep at all. drew's snores are so fucking loud.

Finn's POV

drew's snores are keeping Y/N and i up.

its 2:32am and Y/N and i are the only ones awake.

i look at Y/N who is reading Little Women.

they've read this a million times already.

they're so pretty just sitting there, reading.

i was mesmerized by them.

"hey haven't you read that like a billion times already?" i ask them

"yeah, but its my favorite book. probably the only thing i will never get sick off" they replied

"oh so you'll get sick of me, and not THAT book?" i jokingly say

"you asshole! of course i will never get sick of you...ever." they say, quietly each word.

"okay okay..what's your favorite part in the book?" i ask

"well, its a proposal scene where Laurie proposes to Jo. But Jo turns him down. I love it because it gives me mixed feelings like how sad that Jo turned him down and really romantic from how Laurie loves Jo. I love Laurie, he looks at Jo like shes the only person in the world." they say

Laurie aye?

"wait wait, how do you see how he looks at Jo?"

"theres a movie too dumbass. dont you love films? and isnt maya in a little women film too?" she says and punches my shoulder lightly

"i actually did not know that" i laugh

"i wish i had a Laurie..." y/n signs..

i could.

i stay silent for a second

should i tell them how i feel?

"hey-" i say but get cut off by them

"do you have that one person that you think you could stare at for hours, days, weeks, months, decades, and if i could only live for centuries with that person, id lovingly stare at them for as long as i can last. they're just so mesmerizing. you know? and im sure i'll never get sick of looking at them." they say

i look down thinking about what they said.

"do you?" they ask

"yeah"

"who?"

i look at their y/e/c eyes...

"you."
