Dear Reader,
This book was written by two twelve and thirteen year old girls, way back in 2019 and 2020. Sera Winter (my pen name) and Rosie McCarman took turns writing. Each character's chapter, or point of view was carefully crafted by either Sera Winter, or Rosie McCarman. Sera Winter's character is the lovely Rio, and Rosie's character is Asurli, pronounced (as - your - lee). We hope that you enjoy this book, as it took two girls a very long time to complete. Please excuse any spelling/grammatical errors, as this is our first finished book. There may be some plot holes, and things that don't line up, so please forgive us. We are still learning, and plan to edit it further. Also, please keep the comments clean, and only add constructive, kind criticism. We want to make this a good experience, and some little kids may be reading this. Without further ado, let's get started!
