Foxfire PE is the worst!" Asurli grumbled the next day, as she and Rio were walking into the gym.
"It's better than Alchemy with Lady Galvin!" Rio shot back.
"Why, what did she do to you?" Asurli asked.
"She told me to turn the table into gold." Rio said, frowning.
"And did you do it?" Asurli inquired, looking at Rio, who was blushing like a tomato.
"...yes" Rio muttered.
"Then what's the problem?" Asurl asked, trying not to start giggling. Rio had made a blizzard cloud form over Asurli's head.
"I, um..." Rio coughed. "I turned the table... and the room into gold."
The blizzard cloud grew. Asurli smirked, forming a storm cloud over Rio's head...
"That's not so bad." Asurli remarked. "I started a fire in Lady Alea's class. I burnt her special instructor's book, and had to put it out with my Hydrokinesis ability."
"Ugh, that would suck." Rio commented.
"It's not as bad as turning all of the room into gold, though." Asurli gave a chuckle.
Rio glared, and her blizzard started to hammer down on Asurli.
Asurli chuckled, and made her storm cloud rain on Rio, who stopped most of the flow, and froze what she couldn't stop.
More snow came down on Asurli.
And more.
She now resembled a snow man, or a snow man with azure eyes.
"No more of that!" Asurli giggled, as another bout of snow rained down. She snapped, and there was a Psionipath shield covering her. She was safe from the savage snow. It was now ricocheting off the shield, hitting Rio in the face.
Rio raised her hands, looking like she was going to call on something huge, when a light exploded inside the room. It was stunning, and both girls winced and covered their eyes.
When the light finally stopped, the girls looked up to see who made it. It was their Mentor Elora.
"What do you have to say for yourself?" Mentor Elora asked, looking sweet at the same time as demanding. Her black hair swept over her pail skin, her silver blue eyes staring at them. She looked at them with concern, knowing what she had to do.
"I know it must be super fun playing with your new abilities, but you are late to P.E now. So, as a punishment, you are getting extra P.E at the end of the day. Please don't be late this time." She cast them a stern look.
Rio laughed. Her aquamarine eyes were sparkling.
Asurli frowned, "Now we have extra P.E. Good job!" Asurli was upset. Her azure eyes glistened with tears. "What are my guardians going to say? They're going to be so angry at me!"
Just then a boy stumbled in. He has azure eyes, but with hair like Rio's, only shorter, as is the custom with boys. He even had silver tips like her.
"LATE!" Mentor Elora crowed. "Looks like you're staying after class, too, Draven."
Draven frowned, his eyes downcast. "I'm sorry, Mentor Elora. I was... doing something." His face flashed with recognition as he saw the two girls. Though, it looked more like he recognized them, but didn't know were from.
"Well, I don't care if you were saving the world. Get in a group, and start splotching." Mentor Elora's voice was stern, but she hated yelling at innocent children. She knew that Draven had some health issues, so he was probably getting medicine from the Healing Center.
Draven went to the girls. Asurli was still frowning, and there was a tear sliding down her face. Rio was grinning. They both grabbed Splotchers and started. Draven grabbed him at the same time, revealing an item on his wrist, before he headed over to two boys who seemed to be waiting for him.
Both girls froze, and the Splotchers dropped.
Draven had a watch with the same moon crystal as they did on their bracelets and necklaces.
