Adrien grimaced as Lila made another lie to damage Marinette, he began to feel guilty. He couldn't exactly stop Lila since she was blackmailing him and threatening to hurt Marinette but she was already doing that to her in another way.
That's when he heard a loud crash in the boy's locker area, Marinette or what resembled her waltzed over to Adrien and cupped his face." It's time to pay up Adrien. we did things your way now were doing them my way, open wide" Marinette said as she forced a panicked Adrien's mouth open soon a glowing light was released from his mouth as his eyes dulled. His fear, sadness, anger, worry, and hesitation were all gone within minutes.
The only things left were empathy, compassion, patience, joy, lust, love, carefreeness, logic, nativity, and guilt. His eyes refocused and Marinette had disappeared, he wasn't worried but he did feel guilty maybe he should go play outside as she said.
He scampered outside and began running around with all the other students, Marinette's resolve was this
" if I can only be happy! Then so will everyone else! I'll make them behave and play nice! Most of all I'll make them, and HIM happy!"
So as the teenagers outside acted as if they were 5 years old again, Marinette went around absorbing all the negative emotions she could find even hawkmoth's! Without his grief, and deep sadness though he had no reason to be a villain anymore. Thus Paris was safe from him but not from Marinette!
