- ariaNot too long ago, I flicked the open sign to closed and reluctantly got out the water bucket and mop.
I sighed, swirling the mop around and dancing as if it were a mic on a stand, secretly ashamed of myself. As if my mind had told me there were cameras watching me but I didn't care. It'll get the floors mopped quicker.
The street lights grew brighter as the dark grew darker. The music in my cheap earphones echoed throughout my mind, and the whole situation felt so safe.
That was until, amongst my loud music, I heard the doors bell faintly chime. I pull out my earphones and turn around, expecting to see an ordinary confused person coming in when the sign obviously says closed.
What I saw was quite the opposite.
He was stained with blood and tears. He was panting, crying, pale and cold. He fell to his knees in defeat.
"I'm sorry,"
He took a deep, painful breath.
"You probably know who I am, and I promise you I'm not a bad person," He cried. He looked up, embarrassed.
"I didn't think anyone was in here," He whispered.
"Sir, we are closed unfortunately.." I stop. I can't just say that. My thoughts are racing.
"Are you okay?" I ask not long after.
It probably wasn't the best idea, as the tears welled in his eyes fell rapidly.
He shook his head.
"You won't believe me if I tell you the full story,"
"Sir is there anyone that can take you home?" I ask, my fear slowly rising as my confusion rapidly increases.
"I cant go home," He whispers.
"I'm the face all over the news. I was framed, please believe me. The person killed was my best friend, and I haven't even been able to process it as all the fingers are pointed at me," He rambled, raising his hand to his forehead as anxiously brushing back his brown unruly hair.
I open my mouth but there is not answer. I can hear my heart beating violently throughout my entire body and mind.

I really didn't think anybody was in the shop.
I was solemnly walking, trying to appreciate the scenery and block out my screaming thoughts. I don't know if the sirens I heard were real or not, but it was enough to make me panic and throw myself into the nearest building I could see.
A girl, a worker in the shop, turned around startled. The expression on her face dropped, either she knew who I was or she was just shocked that a beaten up guy had just broken into her shop at night.
She had long brown hair, with subtle golden highlights that shimmered in the dim street lights fading through the windows. Her shirt was stained with coffee, and tucked in lazily into a small black skirt. I couldn't tell the colour of her eyes yet they beamed brightly at me, concerned yet caring.
She had an apron tied securely around her waist and she was happily listening to music. I felt bad for interrupting.
I felt even worse that she was now involved.
Not knowing what to say, I apologised, falling to the floor- overwhelmed.
I told her everything. Why, I don't know. She could've easily called the police and got me arrested, yet my brain was still trying to convince me that none of this is real. I know it's real, very real. And I'm still making stupid, naive decisions.
"Come to the back," She said, taking my wrist and bringing me back to my feet. We lock eyes, I think we're both as confused as each other.
She leads me to a place behind the shop, still holding on firmly to my wrist.
"Your name is Kim Taehyung isn't it?" She asks.
I nod, thinking she has or will call the police. I begin to look for windows, anything I can use to escape.
"Okay Taehyung. I'm Aria, and I want to help you,"
