Ch 5: That's what she said

A day had passed and Skadi was finished with her report from the past events. Now, She was walking, on her way to eat in the pub that has been kind to her.

"Ah! It's Miss Skadi nya~~"

The brown haired cat girl called as some of the waitress greet her as well.

"Hello, Put me in a room by myself please." Skadi said.

She stopped eating in front of people seeing as they all disturb her whether by staring and admiring her, to inviting her to 'fun'.  She had enough and asked the owner to prepare her a private room where she can eat without anyone disturbing her. luckily, Mia was considerate enough after being paid for the request.

"So, the usual then? please follow me!" The other cat girl, asked.

"Nya! I'll bring her there!" the brown haired cat girl protested.

"Don't bother Miss Skadi Anya. Just let Chloe do it." Ryuu said making anya sigh in defeat.

"Thank you." Skadi then followed Chloe to the back.

After They entered her room, They went straight to business.

"I'd like some Pasta for today, And some take out snacks." Skadi said.

"I can help with the Pasta, but the Snacks will have to wait. will that be fine for you?"

"A little bit of waiting can't possibly hurt."

"Any drinks?"

"Just Ale."

"Your order will be coming soon." Chloe excused herself as Mia then entered after her.

"So, How's adventuring? I heard you got yourself in trouble with the guild." She sat across her patron.

"It's too troublesome. the guild is meddling too much. I can protect myself so they don't need to worry." Skadi replied.

Skadi was actually glad that Mia comes to check up on her each visit. it allows her to talk out all the things she wanted.

"Well, I'm glad you can protect yourself. I wouldn't want to hear that a patron customer would not be coming over again." Mia laughed.

"Although, It's such a misfortune that you activated a trap." Mia added.

"Such simple misfortunes are only the beginning." Skadi said.

"Well, I do hope you know how to solve these misfortunes." Mia stood up.

"Well, I don't wanna keep you occupied too much. I got to check on the girls too." Mia excused herself from their conversation.

All by herself, She began to ponder on what Misha told her.

FLASHBACK

"There are not many familia that wanted you going solo in missions, but they wanted you in their Familia."

Misha starts after calming down.

"Then, Continue looking for one." Skadi said.

"Well, There ARE some that would let you solo, Not all of them are a good choice. . ."
