Ch22: Two Separate Souls

"Seems Lisa fell asleep."

Shining shook her head while bearing a smile. Seems she sees Nightingale in her when sleeping. 

"Maaaaan~~ Dinner tasted so good~~~" Tiona claimed as she rubbed her stomach.

"Since we're all finished eating, shall we review the plan for tomorrow?"

As Finn stood up, The two Abyssal Hunters stood up as well, weapons drawn.

"Specter? Gladiia? Is there a Problem?" Blaze looked in curiosity but still followed suit.

"Something is coming."

Gladiia raised her weapon as the familia looked in confusion. Silverash and Shining stood up to spread out earning them more confusion.

"Specter? is something wro-"

Before Finn could finish, Something rushed towards Specter as she sliced it with her weapon.

"Gladiia, Be careful. There's more incoming."

"Right back at you, Laurentina."

"Ais! Tiona! On guard!"

Finn grabbed his weapon as more creatures appeared.

"What are these?!?!"

"EEEK! TENTACLES!!!"

"Aki! Be careful!!"

Riveria, Aki, and Raul got startled as Bete just charged at the creatures and began pummeling them. Although. . .

"Why aren't these creatures not dying?!" He groaned.

Meanwhile, The employees from rhodes seem to not have any problem with them.

"On your right, Shining."

"On it."

"Wooh, These guys are giving me a workout!"

Silverash, Shining, and Blaze continued to fight.

"This is Concerning. What are these 'Huaji' doing in this world?"

"Behind you!"

Specter turned around as a 'Reaper' Was about to pounce on her. Before Gladiia could even rush to her, Someone had already beaten her to it.

"Mon3tr. . . [Command: Meltdown]."

A Black Crystal monster with red gas seeping out of it had already slain it, turning into ashes.

"Another one?!"

Befuddled, Riveria looked in fear, thinking that she was next because she was the one that Aggravated the 'Reaper'.

"Doctor Kal'tsit!!!"

Gladiia said as more operators came from the trees.

"[Body Strengthening]!"

"[Secret Staff: Particle Mode]!!!"

Matterhorn and Angelina had started their attack as Ambriel and courier brought the dokutah by the Sleeping Lisa and started to protect the two.

"They seem to be converging towards specter! Protect her!" After observing the situation, The Dokutah ordered the other operators as they understood the command.

"""Right!!!""" Shining, Blaze, and Angelina answered and started helping the clusters of 'Huaji' crowding her.

Coming out of the bushes, Kal'tsit readied her gear as she pointed it at her team.

Ais, who was also fighting, saw this as an act of aggression and was about to rush towards her but she was too late. All she could do was watch as the 'bullet' made it's way to Specter. Although. . .

"Oh~! Thanks for the save Doctor Kal'tsit!"

Specter said with glee as she was healed from any injuries she had, although it wasn't enough.

The battle went on as the horde began thinning out. Heaving a sigh of relief, Specter was then copped for any injuries by none other than gladiia.

"So, These are the monsters we are going up against. . . " Finn frowned as he bit his thumb.

"Anyway, I'm guessing these are the reinforcements?" Gareth asked as he looked at the group.

"Gladiia, Can you explain what happened before all of this happened?"

"Right."

Reporting to her leader, Ais looked at the group with hunger.

'Strong. . . They are strong.'

Frowning once more, she wondered how they were as strong, if not, stronger than her.

"Ais, Behave." 

Flinching, She looked at Riveria with a pout. that would have worked if Ais was an innocent child. but Ais was a teenage girl with little to no sense of common sense, filled with vengeance.

"Something is wrong."

Frowning at the scene in front of her, she continues to examine a problem she found with the child she helped.

The old one is trying to break the new one. It thinks they were the reason that Ishar'mla took over 'their' body. On the other hand, The new one is trying its best to endure the pain it's receiving from both forces without hurting them.

"I'll have to intervene even if I swore not to. . . I just can't bear seeing the poor child suffering once again." With a sad smile, She sighs.

Motioning her hand, Something bright appears nearby.

'Please. . . It hurts. . .'

Hearing the child's thoughts, she acted quickly to relieve them of their pain. 

Pointing her hands at the poor soul, she began separating the two.

"We shall start introducing ourselves. I'm Finn Deimne, Captain of the Loki Familia, These are the members of our Familia as well."

One by one, They introduce themselves from each other. From the Familia, were Finn, Riveria, Gareth, Ais, Lefiya, Tione, Tiona, Bete, Aki, and Raul. 

The Rhodes' side were Kal'tsit, The Dokutah, Silverash, Shining, Blaze, Angelina, Suzuran, Matterhorn, Ambriel, Courier. And as they all know, Gladiia and Specter were the first form of reconnaissance. Searching for one person they all knew. . .

 Skadi.

Although they  were looking for the same person, they had different intentions. This was what caused friction. Though Specter and Gladiia Did not care, all they wanted was to bring Skadi back to fight the seaborn once more.

"She is required to come back as it is part of the contract agreement between Rhodes Island and Skadi."

"I'm afraid we'll need her with us as she is part of our familia."

As the executives, Kal,tsit, and the Dokutah discuss their problems, The others sighed and just chatted with each other.

Looking at the two separate souls, She sighed in relief as the child she had taken pity on was finally free of pain.

She was perplexed. Before she searched for a body she could put the child in, she made sure that the body she chose was strong enough to protect them as well as the soul of the original being weak enough or nonexistent in order for it to not interfere with the child's peaceful life.

'Although I already knew that giving the child this body warrants an extraordinary life in itself. . .'

Shaking her head, She turns to look at the scene in front of her.

"What should we do about this bastard that decided to torment my little child. . ." Glaring at Ishar'mla, She noticed how Seaborn were approaching the body.

'Its not like they will be able to do anything with the body. . . although. . . '

"I'll have to do something about the other soul. We'll need another body for her."
