Gusion have never been an early riser in weekends so when he found himself waking up drench in sweat, an empty feeling on a side of his mind, his brain panicked and it made him tremble. It feels so hollow, as if a part of himself is ripped apart. He hurriedly ran to the bathroom and retched his gut. He vomited, feeling like he rose from the dead.

His eyes were bloodshot from crying all night with no logical reason at all. He hurriedly took a bath, composed himself and bolted out of his house.

He needs to do something... something. He doesn't know what it is but he needs to do it. His mind is screaming at him to do something.

He ran, trying to follow his instinct. He swiveled streets to streets, the morning air hitting his face. The old lady from his neighborhood greeted him but he merely ignored her. He ran for how many minutes then halted to a stop and took a deep breathe.

He lifted his gaze and saw the letter engravings on a gate.

Baroque Residence

What the...

His eyes roamed around a small house and open gates. He entered as his mind screams at him that he is trespassing. He grips his chest feeling how hollow it is and that feeling slowly vanish as he get nearer and nearer at her front door.

He knocked.

"Ms. Baroque?" He calls for her and nothing greeted him but silence.

This is the sign to go home. No one is inside! He called for her for how many times and yet no one answered him. Instead of leaving, he stayed rooted on the spot, trying to clear his mind. At the end, he ended up standing near her front door when a bolt of pain passed through his mind for a mere second. That made danger rings to his head. "I'm going in!" He told anyone inside the house.

When he turned the knob of the door, it was unlock. He almost cursed at the feeling of it. That girl! She should lock her house! What if something bad happens to her?

He entered the threshold of her home and he feels incredibly cold. The place looks so sad and lonely. He let his instinct roll once again. He started walking at an ajar door, and declared softly once again.

"I'm going in."

The room was dark and cold, not even light passed through the curtains. Gusion can see a body laying down on the bed covered with layers and layers of blankets.

"Baroque?" He called again softly.

There was a shifting on the bed followed by a groan. A hand emerges out of the blanket and tapped the lamp beside the bedside table. The room is then dimly lit by the lamp. Guinevere Baroque emerge from the blanket despite looking sickly.

"S-Sir?" She rubbed her eyes and looks at him, her eyes red from tears and her cheeks, tear-stained, "Why are you trespassing in a private property?" She asks him softly and calmly with a rough voice after she recovered from the sight of him.

Her sad yet gentle eyes gazes deep down on his and Gusion is taken aback from how bright it is. Emerald. Her eyes are the color of emerald. Very captivating. He was speechless from the sight, and not like he have any answer for her question.

"Uhmm..." He thought of the reason why he is in there. "It's because- because..." my instinct brought me here?

She sighs and laid down back to her bed, breaking their eye contact. "You should go home, sir." She dismisses him and Gusion should do what she said yet he stay rooted on the spot.
