Once I was moved in with the help of Sarai, Britt her boyfriend and the moving company I felt even more happy than I felt getting that house. It had been over two weeks and I was still happy ass fuck, I really hadn't spoke to Michael matter fact I hadn't talked to him since I left, Christian was in and outta town I only saw him on FaceTime or if I picked him up from the airport but that was it. I wasn't tripping cause I was working overtime at the shop and I even tried to get a part time job working at Saks on the days I wasn't in the shop cause I needed the extra money, I wasn't broke but I didn't wanna end up broke either tryna pay rent.
Sarai- Is my appointment today? At 5?
Me- yes she said she can squeeze u in
I finally had myself together where I had the opportunity to even help Sarai she was walking around with a bun and I just felt like she needed some braids or something so I got her an appointment with the braider here in the shop I work in.
"So how was your vacation?" My client Rita asked she was a older probably late 30's but she was cool as hell and didn't look a day over 25. "Oh my God Rita I literally met the man of my dreams while I was there" I squealed I forgot she was one of the only people I could really kick it with about Michael besides Shayla and Sarai I hadn't seen her since before I went to LA and I'm sure she seen me gone on Instagram.
"Ohh shoot what about the guy that bought the jewelry?" She asked as I put her lashes on "oh he the reason I was even down there that's the crazy part I was really on some sneaky stuff! But anyways I still like him the other guy tho? I would lay down and have his babies today! Like seriously but I just know he would be the one to break my heart I haven't even talked to him and I kno he the one for me" I shrugged "baby your young you got a few more heart breaks to go" she laughed making me pout but it was true I knew relationships didn't last forever.. everything has an ending.
"I knowwwww but you don't understand I just felt so safe and secure with him like we could actually be together maybe" I said making her raise an eyebrow. "Whatever you do don't be messy about it, make sure you let the other guy know you don't want him. It's fun playing a nigga who played you but these young men these days so violent girl you gotta kill them before they kill you and don't nobody feel like dying because of a man" she said making me laugh boy did I fucking know!
We talked til she left and I had been on my feet for twelve plus hours. I came in at 10 it was now 12 and I had just finished my last client and Sarai was getting done with her braids.
"You work tomorrow?" I asked as I swept the shop and Kendra was on her last few braids. "No but I gotta be up early cause I gotta go to the library and use their computers" she said making me look back at her and scrunch my face up. "You need a computer?" I asked "yeah I gotta do those essays to submit to the board and a few projects" she said and I nodded taking mental note.
Felicia was back out of town so Sarai was staying with me until she felt comfortable going g home by herself.
By time I finished cleaning real good Sarai was done with her hair and we headed to my house and I stopped and grabbed a pizza on the way.
"I'm so tired" I sighed sitting the pizza on the counter and taking my coat off "man my damn neck hurt" she mumbled typing away on her phone.
"Here's some money to get a computer" I said going in my purse pulling a few hundred out it wasn't enough for a MacBook or nothing but enough to get a nice HP.
"Awe thank youuuu" she cheesed hugging me. "Yeah yeah" I laughed hugging her back.

"Hello?" Mumbled wiping the sleep from my eyes "hey baby" Michael spoke making me look at my phone screen at the unknown number "who is this?" I joked closing my eyes and laying back down "stop playing you kno' who this I apologize for not checking in and shit I got caught up"
