Once we landed in LA it was going on 6 pm so it was still kind of early.
"You hungry?" He asked once the driver closed the trunk of the truck. It felt so good to just not do anything for the first time in my life. I was very self aware and delusional so being love bombed did scare me but Im at the point of just living life.
"Not really I do wanna go to the dispensary though I've never been to one before" I said, shit I barely left Atlanta.
"Alright bet" he said then telling his driver where we were going.
"Hey Mike!" A lady said as he led me into the back of the dispensary 'Toasty's' with his security behind me, "Hey Carla, we got any good weed in? My lady wanna shop" he said making me blush a little he was just always saying the right stuff I swear.
"Of course come on!" Carla said leading us down a long ass hallway passing doors before she stopped opening one, it went from super quiet to loud ass music and people. The whole vibe changed when we walked in which confirmed my theory of this being his store. It was very nice the whole set up of the store "This is Kandy our budtender she'll assist you!" Carla smiled and the girl looked from me to Mike back to me.
"Hii guys what's your name?" she asked and I smiled back "I'm Coy and this is my first time in one of these places so bare with me" I laughed as she turned her iPad towards me.
"I gotta go handle something in the back! Kandy bring her to the office when y'all done" Michael said while I scrolled looking at the menu.
Kandy had showed me just about everything in the store, literally! I got a whole tote of the inventory vault and everything. Then she started showing me all of the different products they carried from lotions to weed and I literally got an everything.
"Damn you still shopping?" Mike asked shit they had me behind the counter helping them.
"We just gotta bag it all up" I said stuffing my edibles in the cute complimentary merch bag as he slicked the long ass receipt up off the floor that had fell.
"You wasn't supposed to pay for nothing" he said side eyeing me taking the bag out my hand "um well I didn't expect to walk away with all this free after you left me" I said rolling my eyes watching him open up the register and take the money back out. "Can you get Carla for me Kay" he asked "yeah I did call for a few times over the walkie so I'm not sure if she's in a meeting or not" she said making me side eye her "I was the meeting crazy she's in the back" he said. I forgot she was tryna get a manager on the floor so what the fuck was he doing in the back with Carla ass that she couldn't respond to somebody calling her?
Once he had Carla fix Kandys drawer we walked around the store a bit and talked to a few people before we left, I was annoyed at first but I couldn't even trip because I was actually happy just from the weed.
"When we go anywhere please just relax I got it don't pull no money no card no nothing alright?" he asked "Mhm but fyi if yall wouldn't have took forty minutes in the 'back' I wouldn't have! I just didn't wanna hold her up from making money from other customers" I said looking over at him while he did whatever on his phone I didnt have anything to do with what he had going on but I didnt ever want him getting comfortable with me to go be in a hoe face when I'm around.

"I never said you did" I stated while watching his every move cause at this point I felt he was trying to be smart "I'm just letting you know it seemed you were trying to insinuate something so I just wanted to clear that before anything" he said watching me trying to stare into my eyes but I looked away looking out the window at the many mountains we were passing on the highway.
