Isabell pov

"No- no it can't be" I gasped as the man turned around fully. Mike. "W-what are you doing here? Why are you in my home?!

[Chile I forgot his name but I'm sure it was Mike]

"Isabell darling it was mine before I left because you wanted to be with girls...." He said sickly sweet and I heart Jenny let out another sob

I quickly went over to comfort her but she push me away. I felt my heart break a little

"Why are you here?" I asked now furious

"Since you didn't break it off with Riley like I politely threatened you too I had to come let my baby girl know what her mother had been up to lately" he said with fake sympathy

The husband I knew was never this heartless

I stormed over to him. "You have no fucking right!"

"M-mom is it true?" Jenny sobbed and rubbed her eyes

My face softened as I looked over at her heart broken face. I was being so selfish.

I'm a terrible mother

I nodded, ashamed.

She broke down into a bigger cry. "Is this the s-secret she was h-h-hiding"

I nod again although I hestited because I wasn't sure. She could've had another secret but this was most likely the one she was hiding

"Yes darling. I'm sorry"

Mike clapped his hands with a smile on his face. "Well now that we have this cleared up I came back because I want you to get back with me"

I looked at him like he lost his mind.

He just told Jenny about my relationship with her friend and he told her about why he really left and he wanted to get back with me?!?

It wasn't just his secret to tell.

"Are you out of your mind?! No! Get the fuck out of my house you psycho" I screamed and I could feel my face start to get wet

I angrily wiped away my tears

"Now now honey don't be like that" he reached up to cup my cheek but I moved away quickly and went to Jenny's side

"I said GET THE FUCK OUT!" I screamed

I could see him physically flinch

"If that's how you're going to be..." He got up and fixed his hat. "I'll be on my way then. Jenny darling if you ever want to know more contact me" he slid a card over

She picked it up with shaky hands. He tilted his hat before leaving

"Jenny I'm-" she got up from the table and ran upstairs.

I sighed but didn't chase after her. She needed time alone and i had to give her that space.

The moon was out now and the sky was full of stars. Jenny hadn't came out her room all day, not even to eat.

Faith and Erin had came by but when they went to her room she just told them they needed to go, she didn't even open the door for them

I sighed again and got out of my bed. I made my way out of my room and to hers

"Jenny.." I knocked on the door and twisted the knob but as expected, it was locked. "Can we please talk?"

"Go away" her voice was ruff and hoarse from all the crying. I went downstairs and got her a bottle of water then made my way back up

"I have some water. Please let me in so we can talk"

It went quiet for a second before I heard her feet lightly padding against the floor then the door unlock. She opened it

Her eyes was blood shot red, tear strikes on her cheeks, her face was red as a tomato and snot ran down her nose

"I'm so sorry" I whispered and pulled her into a hug

This time she let me hold her as she cried again.

When she was done she went to the bathroom saying she needed to clean herself up before she came back and I gave her the bottle of water

She gulped all of it down in under 15 seconds

"I just wanted to start by saying I'm sorry for being the reason your dad left..."

For the rest of the night we talked about it. She said she needed time to think about it

I even told her about me and Riley relationship but if she wanted me to end it I'll do so in a heart beat

I know she was pressured by all the information she learned in one day so I left her to sleep seeing as she looked drained

I let out a breath of relief and went back to my room

This is a hell of a story I have to tell Riley.

I wish everything didn't unfold the way it did

Carly still got her money although the guy did find out she was trying to play him.
Her family is doing fine seeing as she's paid everything off now.
