Chapter 2: A Heart shaddering turn of events

(Y/n's) P.O.V.

"No....please don't tell me it's true.... It can't...!"

I rush over to the tower which I heard it was the "deca tower" to see only 6 inklings come out when there are supposed to be eight...

I thought he was just late to put my mind at ease... then one of the 6 told me with a sorrowful look "hey... you must be that inkling's son right?" He said,

I replied with "yes I am, how did you know?"

"You two look too similar to pass up, but I have news... and I'm sorry I have to tell you this but... your father?... He fell in the water right before the power went shut..."
no...... tell me that's not true! A tear starts to be shed
"He.....isnt...."

Another tear is shed

"I'm sorry....but....it is the harsh truth"

I burst into tears at that point....
"DAAAAAAD!!" I screamed as I started running in a random direction not knowing where I will end up while receiving multiple stares after what I just shouted as I just started to dash in one direction not knowing I where I will go...

After some running I found myself in some sort of forest...
I was wondering how I got here then I remembered...

...I just straight up ran here...

...in the middle of nowhere...

I started to panic since I didn't know where I was!
"Great I went insane after the news that I ran, now I end up here of all places?!" Sighing to myself I walked around the woods to see if I could find an exit then I see an orange light.... It seemed strange so I followed it then I heard something,

"Forward"

"WHO'S THERE?!" I answered quickly out of fear

After a bit of silence I continue foward... can this lead me to the exit? The light starts to get brighter as I approach it. "that has to be sunlight!! It's a way out!!"

But after I run foward a bit more, the light wasn't what I thought it was...
