the computers buzzed with power around Mercy. normally she could tune out all the natural electric frecquencys that occured around her, but right now it was harder than normal. there were dozens of lit up screens, each of them flashing images as quickly as they appeared on screen. it made her motion sick just to look at them.

"we already know this one, but i want to keep." Imani said.

she tapped her own white lined paper that showed the translated prophecy page. Mercy nodded her head, unsure if Imani was asking permission or not.

"but this one, this is interesting." she muttered.

honestly Mercy was bored out of her mind. she had spent the past two hours reading for Imani, waiting for her to copy things down, answering questions over and over again.

she touched the paper with the body diagram and odd list.

"what about it?"mercy asked.

Imani tilted her head from side to side, like the words might make sense if seen from a different angle.

"i dont know... these numbers, im fairly certain these are coordinates. however i cant begin to geuss what these are." Imani said.

"dont you have other pages already translated? i should look over them to be sure their correct." Mercy said.

imani nodded her head, and pulled out lamenated pages. Mercys eyebrow quirked up slightly and she sighed. Imani not only had an interest in Mercy, but history, and how she was involved in it. she had so many theorys about Mercy. all of them more ludicrous than the other.

what the two did know, because it was written out plain and simple, is that Mercy held the spark. the spark was what gave her powers. its why she healed so quickly, why she was a bit stronger than she should be. its origins were unknown, but so far they were certain its power was barely at half life inside of Mercy. that meant that if she got stronger, she would essentially be a god.

no, she would be a god. and she was meant to fight other gods.

mercy scratched her cheek and squinted against the bright computer monitors. the words shifted in and out of focus, her migraine came back.

"it looks like a diary entry, or a note to somoene else." mercy said.

imani nodded.

"Fifth stool, forgive the intrusion, i was won-yeah wondering how i might come find you. we have spoken time over and over, and i have yet to see where you get your knowledge. i am interested in your codex, the key to your knowledge of the gods." mercy said.

imani scribbled down her words and nodded, comparing them with the first page of notes.

"yeah, i think... yeah these dont match up fully. the computer didnt translate 'knowledge of gods' just 'forefathers location', and codex was library." Imani said.

Mercy nodded her head, and turned the page.

"okay this is from, im geussing fifth stool?" she said.

"seventh stool. the inner circle has deemed you worthy for preparation. the location will be in this letter, your wishes will be granted as soon as you arrive. please remember your... jeez i dont know what that means... soemthing about a ceremonial dagger? oh! owl dagger again. i geuss those were things people back then had..." Mercy said.

Imanis brow furrowed, and then a look of surprise came across her face.

"owl dagger is what you see yes?" she asked.

Mercy nodded her head.

"okay, so here, it says to bring the silver goddess' dagger of knowledge." Imani said.
