What happens now?

Y/N's Pov

It's been well over 8 months of living with the Avengers. Dr Strange tried everything he could to send me home but in the end he just thought it was best for me to stay. I started to go to school. Tony had sent me to Midtown High so that Peter could keep an eye on like he did with Sarah. We call the Y/N from this universe by her middle name as not to confuse each other. Peter introduced me to his friends, MJ and Ned and we got a long nicely. I had to tell them everyone I had gone for a family emergency since everyone thought I was Sarah but it didn't take long for MJ and Ned to realise that I wasn't Sarah due to my sudden shift in behaviour. They eventually figured out that I was from another universe and that I was Spider-woman.

Me and Peter had become a superhero duo as me and him had the same powers. We would fight crime on a regular basis, especially this one villain we call The Tattler. Any rumour she whispers in your ear becomes true. Every time we fight her she makes us do ridiculous things, like, there was this one time she made me jump in a lake, not cool.

But these past few months I'd gotten a different feeling when Peter was around. I thought it was nothing until I realised that I liked him, as much more than a friend. He is so cute and funny and kind and he always puts others before himself, but I knew we could never be together since MJ and Ned told me that Peter liked Sarah but could never date her since it was too dangerous. The thing is, I wasn't Sarah, I was me and I'm sure Tony wouldn't mind, what he doesn't know won't kill him (I hope).

I was just lying in my bed finishing up the rest of my homework when I suddenly heard a knock on my balcony window. I got up to go see who it was and was suddenly face to face with a masked hero in blue and red.

"Hey Pete", I say with a smile.

"H-hey Y/N/N", he says with a stutter while removing his mask.

"What's up?"

"I j-just wanted to k-know if you would like to go for a s-swing?"

"Um, sure. Let me just get my suit"

"Great! I'll just be out here"

I quickly ran into the closet with my suit and changed into it. I tied my hair into a messy bun and came out of the closet holding my mask in my hands. When I came out Peter started to blush but quickly hid it by putting on his mask.

"Shall we?"

"Shouldn't we tell Tony were we are going?"

"No! I mean, we wouldn't want to bother him with whatever he's doing", he said rather panicked.

"Ooookay. Scarlett please lock my door and alert me if Tony approaches", I say to my AI because I didn't want to call her F.R.I.D.A.Y.

"Yes Y/N", the AI says.

After I made sure the door was locked me and Peter went to the balcony. He started to climb over the wall stopping me from falling.

"Scarlett, please remove the balcony", I say with a smirk.

The balcony started to retract and Peter started to fall since the sudden retraction of the balcony scared him. I jumped after him and caught him before he hit the ground and started to swing with him. He suddenly shot a web and put his hand on my waist and started to swing us both.

"Hey, you may have saved me but I'm a gentleman, so allow me".

"Oh please", I say shooting a web and pushing Peter off me, "You may be a gentleman, but you are stupid enough to not save yourself from falling 100ft". And with that I was ahead of Peter in this swinging game we had started.

We landed on the roof of the Skyline Tower and sat down dangling our legs over the edge.

(I did my research and that is the tallest tower in Queens. Just wanted to be accurate)

I looked down at the shimmering city full of lights in the night time and I was instantly mesmerised by the view.

"This view is so beautiful"

"Yeah, it is", he said.

I turned to look at Peter but instead of looking at the view he was looking at me. He was about to say something when suddenly we heard a thud behind us. We put our masks on and stood up. When we turned around we saw the one and only, Tattler.

"Oh, I'm sorry, did I ruin your little date", she said in a mocking. She was wearing her usual outfit. A green jumpsuit with a black mask covering the top half of her face and a belt filled with different types of weapons.

Me and Peter started to blush uncontrollably and we looked away from each other. I suddenly heard a whisper in my ear and realized the Tattler was next to me.

"I heard a rumour that you pushed Spiderman off the roof", she said in a menacing tone.

I suddenly had no control over my body but I was aware of what I was doing. I ran towards Peter and pushed him off the roof. Thankfully this time he managed to save himself before he hit the ground. I snapped out of my trance and started to fight the Tattler. She was pretty hard to fight until me and Peter webbed her to the ground. We got out the truth spray and sprayed a little bit of it in her face. Bruce had made more truth serum and made it into a spray and gave it to every Avenger in case they needed to interrogate anyone.

"So", she says in a sassy voice, "What happens now?"
