Loki awoke to some commotion around him. He heard yelling. Thor was yelling. He somehow heard his mother. What was even happening? He blinked a few times to adjust his blurry vision to see that he was in the healers ward.

He then remembered what had happened.

Memories ran through his mind. But one of those memories kept playing over and over and over. He shuddered in fear as it kept playing. The sight of someone on top of him, his clothes hanging off the bed. He was so scared. He was only young at that point and it scarred him. He remembered that telling anybody would result in them not believing him. I mean, who would want to believe such a liar that causes trouble for everyone anyways?

"Brother!"

Loki snapped out of his thoughts and blinked to see Thor near his bedside, looking worried as ever. His mother was there too, concern all over her face. Loki tried to move but couldn't. He looked down to see his body under the sheet, bloodied and injured. The glass shards had apparently been removed from his body but what seemed to be some sort of healing cream was covering his wounds. He could still see the blood. He looked up to Thor and his mother in shock and fear.

"Loki, why did that guard push you out the window?" Thor asked him carefully, looking at him with concern in his eyes. "B-Because of a t-trick I pulled o-on him months ago..." Loki stuttered out, clearly afraid that he was going to be blamed for this happening, that it was his fault that it led to this. Loki looked away in shame, unable to look at Thor as he feared for the words to just come out.

"Was he that mad about a harmless trick you did on him?" Thor asked in bewilderment. Loki nodded, avoiding looking at his brother. Thor sighed and looked to Frigga and then back to Loki. "I know you didn't mean to do it, it's just one of your tricks that you like doing." Thor stated calmly, trying not to show how distressed he was in his voice. Loki looked at him with tears in his eyes, trembling in fear. He was glad that Thor didn't blame him, but he knew his father would blame him. "T-Th-Thank you." Loki stuttered, clearly still scared. Thor nodded with a small smile before getting up and leaving the ward, obviously about to try and get the guard fired and put in the dungeons for hurting his younger brother.

Frigga walked over to Loki and stroked his hair to get him to calm down. "It's alright, Loki, it's all over. It won't happen again." Frigga tells him, her soothing voice comforting him. Loki nodded, but he knew that it would happen again. He wanted to tell his mother what had happened months ago but decided against it, knowing that she wouldn't believe him like everyone else. "You seemed distressed, Loki. Is something bothering you?" Frigga asked him softly. Loki gulped and looked to her. "Uhm, no. I'm alright." He lied with a fake smile. Lying was the only way for him to get out of trouble. Frigga nodded, but she knew that he was hiding something so she decided to allow him to tell her whenever the time was right. Loki sighed and settled down onto the bed. It didn't take long for him to fall asleep, his mothers touch always soothed him. Frigga noticed that he was asleep and kissed his head before sitting down, making sure that her son was safe while he slept.
