[Leila]
As I lean my head against his shoulder,I contemplate wether I should ask or not. Making up my mind, I breath out the question. "Why...did you leave?"
"Leila-"
I cut him off, making space between us so that I can look at him. "I can't drop everything in my life and run into your arms when I don't even know if we'll last. I don't know if you'll stay."
I sigh, looking at my fidgety hands. "How would I know that you won't just leave, like you did five years ago? Why would I leave my boyfriend-"
"Your little boyfriend isn't who you think he is. If I saw that he made you happy, and that he's loyal, I wouldn't have gotten anywhere near you." He retorted, "Do you even know where he is, right now?"
I was taken back by that, what could he possibly mean?
"He's at work.." I muttered, my mind wandering to what else Nick could possibly be doing. He wouldn't cheat becuase he's been chasing me for the past few years. Why would he cheat? "And don't change the subject." I say.
Silas scoffed, grabbing my attention. "You don't know anything, you're so naive. You have so much trust in a boy who can't keep it in his pants."
I gasp, "You don't even know him, you're in no place to make such accusations." I yell out, getting off the bench.
He stands up, his body towering over me. "If you don't trust me, I can show you." He suggests, sounding too confident. Confident in a way that terrified me.
"I trust Nick." I said.
Do I?
"I can't believe you." Silas sighed. "You know what, I can't leave you like this any longer." And with that he grabs my hand and pulls me after him.
"Silas, let go of me this instant." I hiss, planting my feet to the ground, then again, that didn't stop him. He carries me on his shoulder, heading with me towards the elevator.
When the elevator door shuts, he puts me down. I turn to him, pointing a finger at him, angrily. "Are you out of it?" I fumed. "You always do such shit when you don't want to talk about something, it's so frustrating."
He crossed his arms, ignoring my existence. "I'm talking to you." I say.
"I know, and I'm ignoring you." He looks at me, momentarily.
"Why did I not push you off the building when I could," I huff, looking away. I start walking out but realize that it's not our floor yet, but just people walking in. I could've just left him in there with them.
I stand at the very back with Silas at my side. "Fuck me." I mutter to myself in frustration.
"Gladly." He whispers to me, his hand sneaking around my waist. I glare at him and push him off, which makes him laugh.
When we're finally on the first floor, he throws me over his shoulder, except this time I don't argue. I know best how stubborn he is.
When we're at his black Mercedes Benz, he smacks my ass lightly, causing me to yelp. When he puts me down give him my middle finger then get in the car after he opens the door for me.
He starts the car, placing one of his hands on the back of my seat as he reversers the car.
Oh God.
"I really don't know why you're doing all this." I snapped, glancing out the window. My heart was beating really fast, I bet Silas can hear it.
Back when we were in highschool, Nick was a literal man whore. But as the years passed, he started to mature. He stopped fucking around and started paying more attention to his career and, well, me.
