The Chronicler & his company had left Po-Koro and set sail for the jungles of Le-Koro. Even when they get there it wasn't gonna be easy to actually get to the village itself. Because it was high up in the treetops. They could sail to the ocean and navigate through the river area that would lead into the land area that would have the path to the small lake bed that has the trees that form the village. The others gasped in awe at the beauty of the lush woods and plant life. "It's so beautiful!" Macku complements.
"It's okay, if you don't mind the bugs." Takua shrugs.
"How can you say that? It's incredible!" Hali says in surprise. She then sighs, "Is there any place you do feel at home?"
"I don't complain about Ta-Koro." Takua reasons.
"But you still wander off, and you can see wonderful places like this any time you want! Looking for amazing stories." Kapura points out.
"Girls got a point. Have you ever really thought about your own story?" Hafu asks.
"No. I don't really have a story." Takua shrugs, as they doc and start their hike on foot.
"Only because you don't stand still long enough to make one." Kapura argues. "We all have a destiny given by Mata Nui."
"You know me, always different." Takua again simply shrugs as they continue their walk. Hafu and the girls simply shake their heads. One day...he'll find his way.
Their path was blocked by Repo Nui-jaga, green air element scorpions. That seemed to be the most common hostile rahi of late. However unlike others they weren't as huge nor as tough as the classic purple ones. And after the tough Quarry fight they had, these guys were no trouble at all. They quickly managed to take them out with their bamboo discs. As they scuttle away Takua notices something on the ground. They were the infected masks the beasts had. Thinking about the Comet balls from earlier, an idea came to him that really sounded like a smart move. "Guys, carefully let's take these infected masks with us. That way we won't have to worry about these rahi hurting anyone else again."
":Should we really be gathering up these infected masks? They were created by Makuta, they're evil." Kapura asks.
"As long as no one wears them, Makuta can't harm us. Besides better we gather them up and depower the Rahi we encounter along the way. We'll ask the Turaga how to dispose of them when we reach Le-Koro." Takua reasons.
"He's got a good point. We need to get rid of these things as best we can." Hali agrees.
"Yeah, maybe when they recover they can wear one of mine." Hafu holds up a Pakari mask he made out of stone he was carrying with him. "Another Hafu original!"
Macku gives him a dirty look, "You're gonna say at every chance you get aren't you?"
"Possibly." He admits with a chuckle.
"Great Spirit preserve me." Macku facepalms. The others just roll their eyes.
Finally, thanks to some lights and conveniently placed lily pads, they found the pod lift that would take them to the tree tops of Le-Koro. The pod was small so they all had to wait one at a time for everyone to join them. But it was still an amazing sight to see. The Le-Matoran's waved to them in excitement as they were having their fun. There was a group of them that were playing very cheerful music. If Po-Koro was known for their carvings, Le-Koro were the bringers of music and dancing! They brought them food and offered to paint up their masks to decorate just to have a bit of fun. Say what you want about them, the Le-Matorans knew to have fun and never met a stranger. They gave Takua a warm welcome when he first came traveling by this place once during his early journeys.
