Authors Note #1 It's here! The final part to this tragedy of a 'book series'. I am so excited to write the final part! I enjoyed writing this even though it took so long... anyways, ill let you get reading 'The Final Battle'!!!!
Aura snickered, "Damn this blood moon!" She grabbed a stake of wood and waited for Boris to get in close to make her move. Meanwhile, Wheeze ran back inside the fort. She grabbed an object and broke the glass that enclosed Kyle. "W-What...?" Kyle stuttered. "I'm letting you out, ever since we captured you I felt bad. Your friend is out there and he's a monster, you need to help calm him down. He needs you." Wheeze finished. "He, needs me. He needs me. He needs me. He needs, me." Kyle repeated. He hugged Wheeze and ran out of the fort, he could hear Boris. "Wait!" He heard Wheeze from inside the fort. "We captured another guy who's really tall! You should get him too!" She yelled. Was she talking about Tall Guy? They got him too! "Okay! I will!" Kyle ran around to the other side of the fort to look for Tall Guy. He looked into the red darkness of the store and he could finally spot a voice blandly yelling "Help." He ran up to the glass. "YOU! Why would you leave Boris alone? Are you insane!" Kyle yelled at him as he broke Tall Man out of the glass. "You shouldn't be yelling at me, you left him for months! You practically abandoned him! I actually took care of him while you were doing what? Having a fun time with you new friends? You're a hypocrite." Tall Man ran off to find Boris. Kyle felt his blood boil. His body changed as his anger grew. He ran closely after Tall Man, hoping he could beat him there.
The only thing he cared about was helping Boris.

Boris threw himself around, he had cuts and bruises all around his body and his right eye was punctured by the wooden stake. Bloodlust filled his insides, seeking for revenge. He ran towards Aura, dodging the multitude of objects being thrown at him. He finally reached Aura and swiped her down from her post. She screamed, and grabbed her now broken arm. "You took Kyle from me! He was my friend!" He slashed at her, she dodged. "You took Tall Man away from me too!" He stomped down, she yowled in agony. "Do you know how much pain you caused me?! The pain you caused him, and everyone else around you!?" He stopped yelling. All he could do now was cry. Boris couldn't take it anymore, he wanted to give up. Everything was lost. He kneeled down and gave up. He was losing his vision, he was fading into the darkness. "Boris!" He could hear from a distance, instantly recognizable. "Tall Man?" he whispered to himself, the light pouring back into his vision. "Boris!!!" He heard another voice. "Tall Man, Kyle!!" He ran towards the sounds of their voices, he felt himself shrink to his regular size. "Boris!" Tall Man and Kyle shouted at the same time. Boris opened his arms wide. Aura fumbled on the ground, searching for her weapon. She found her bow, and aimed. Kyle saw Aura aim her bow at Boris, "BORIS!!" He was too far away to do anything but yell. Boris smiled before his eyes went wide. He fell to the ground, a makeshift arrow piercing his shoulder.
"BORIS!"
—————————————————
When Kyle was imprisoned, he would always have memories about the past, and when Boris would occasionally get hurt. Boris did well whenever he got hurt and Kyle would patch him up nicely. But once, Boris fell from a rather tall shelf and broke his leg. He let out such an excruciatingly loud screech that all the employees in the facility came to his aid. They all took care of him for the rest of the day and scolded Kyle about how he should be more careful when training new employees. Kyle thought it was the most peculiar thing, how was all the employees alerted by Boris's scream? The warehouse was huge! But those thoughts went through his mind like water and was put into the back of his mind for a long time. Only to be brought back up now, when Boris was hurt.
"Tall Man..." Kyle started.
"What?!" Tall Man responded, stopped in his tracks.
"Cover your ears." Kyle said as he followed his own orders.
"Wha-"Tall Man couldn't even finish. The most ear-splitting noise surrounded them. The high-pitched yell was so loud that it even made Kyle start to tear up because it hurt. After about 15 seconds the scream whittled into a loud sob. "Kyle what the hell was that? Did that come out of Boris?" He questioned. "This has happened once before. Now, we wait." Kyle said. "WHAT!? We can't wait! We need to help Boris and kill those bastards for putting him through this pain!" Tall Man roughly approached Kyle and started to drag him towards Boris. Another noise appeared, the sound of a stampede of people, employees. Tall Man looked around, employees were running to their aid from all over the store. "Here they are, our warriors." Kyle smirked. "Never say that again." Tall Man said with disgust. As soon as the employees arrived they started attacking the humans from the fort, all of them screaming and crying and calling for someone called 'mom'. But for some reason, the employees brought over Aura, implying that they kill her themselves. Boris looked over at her, tears still falling from his eyes.
"This is wrong." Boris choked up. Boris crawled over to Aura. "Is this what you really wanted?" Boris asked out of the blue. Aura didn't answer right away. Boris asked again, "Is this what you really wanted?"
"No, not really."
"Then what did you want?"
"I don't know."
"Why not?"
"I just wanted, a happy life.
"Why?"
"I just wanted to be happy, but I'm not happy now."
"Why?"
"Because greed came over me. I wanted all the happiness to myself so fast."
"I understand. But this, this won't ever make you happy."
"Just kill me now. I don't want to admit my faults to my enemy."
"Okay, but will you promise me now one thing?"
"What?"
"In your next life, will you be happy."
Aura smiled.
"I think I can do that."
And she faded away just like that. Humans on the outside were so weak, but deep down, they were the strongest creatures of all time. But it was so sad to see these creatures blood on the ground, they would have to clean that up later. It all ended so suddenly, then again, it all started to suddenly as well. But their lives were back to normal now. No humans, no bloodshed, no abandonment. Kyle and Tall Man aided Boris for the weeks that he needed care. Over time, the two employees got along and closer, but the occasional bickering never stopped. Sadly the only permanent injury was Boris's right eye, he was now completely blind in the eye. Although he couldn't work as much, he still did everything he could do, and sometimes extra.
Life was always hard, and when more obstacles are put in your way, it gets even tougher. But, you have to push through. Boris did, and so can you.
The End.
