The room has filled with sweet air as the chirping of the birds resonated through the windows.
This was one of those days.
Waking up to the blissful sound of nature and feeling the soft caress of warm air on your hair.
This was spring.
Taehyung breathed in the fresh air, opening his eyes and lazily roaming them around the room.
Sun.
It was so bright. He shut his eyes as the sun rays have filled the room in its golden glory.
Taehyung felt a weight on his chest and looked down, a lazy smile making its way into his face because who wouldn't smile at a sight like this.
After their movie night, both boys fell asleep on the same bed, too lazy to move back into their beds.
So he laid there, running his eyes over each inch of the youngers face.
From his pretty lashes resting on his cheeks and to his lips puffed into a pout. His hair looked so soft and his skin glistened under the sun.
He surely looked beautiful, angelic even.
Taehyung gently rubbed Jeongguk's cheek, feeling the soft mushy skin under his thumb.
Was his skin always this soft?
Taehyung wondered.
He kept caressing his face, the younger purring in response.
Taehyung laughed in adoration.
"You're such a brat when you're awake yet so peaceful when asleep."
Jeongguk stirred in his sleep, cheeks pressed against Taehyung's chest.
He opened his eyes, batting his eyelashes to reveal his golden brown irises.
"Good morning baby brat."
"Goomooning hyungie." Jeongguk mumbled, sleep still evident in his voice.
Taehyung chuckled as he continued raking his hands through the youngers soft curls.
It was so peaceful, how they just laid there, body and mind relaxed as they took in the morning atmosphere.
Still laying on his chest, Jeongguk looked up at Taehyung, giving him a lazy smile to which the older responded with a warm smile.
It felt like heaven, waking up like this.
Jeongguk crawled more towards Taehyung, snuggling himself into his neck. He sighed in utter bliss, the calming scent of the older lulling him back into sleep.
Taehyung made no signs of moving. He just laid there, hands massaging the youngers head as he too slowly fell back into sleep.
Two hours later, Taehyung woke up to the loud buzzing of bees. He rubbed his eyes and looked around the room in search of his phone.
Luckily, it was laying still on the night stand. Being extra careful with his moves, he reached out for his phone to check the time.
11:23am
Wow, they slept longer than they usually would.
Deciding it was time to wake up, Taehyung gently shook Jeongguk's shoulder.
"Little baby, wake up." he rasped.
Jeongguk whimpered, hiding his face further into his neck.
"Hey come on Koo, it's almost midday." Taehyung chuckled.
"Nuuu.." is all he got in response.
Taehyung sighed.
"What am I gonna do with you."
"Cuddle...."
"Oh, so you're not asleep?"
"I am, I am. Just shush for a second, I want to think with my eyes closed." The younger mumbled sleepily.
Taehyung chuckled and shook his head.
Oh well, he had no other options.
He gently stood up, scooping up the youngers body and lifting him up like a baby.
Jeongguk whined in response, hands circling around Taehyung's neck as the older carried them into the bathroom.
To brush their teeth obviously.
What did you think they'd do?
Pervert.
After their self care session and a daily angry fit from the younger, they were finally done.
"What are we doing today hyungie?" Jeongguk asked, waddling behind his hyung in his bunny slippers.
"How about a picnic at the beach and swimming there afterwards? And for afternoon, we can bake something sweet and just chill since today is our last day."
"Hmm.." Jeongguk stood there, hands sassily on his waist as he thought about Taehyung's plan.
"Okie dokie!! When are we heading out?"
Taehyung thought for a second, calculating the mass of the sun and the volume of the air. The density of rocks and the wavelengths of light during each second of light years passing by the planet.
After finishing his calculations, Taehyung flew out of the window, ate a lady bug and brushed some chickens with a hairbrush, and came back to his senses.
"How about in 15 minutes? Just pack up whatever you need for swimming and we'll drive by a store to get some food."
"Yes sir!" Jeongguk saluted and dashed out of the room, in search for his swimming trunks and sunscreen.
