Chapter 1|One night stand

“You call this celebration?” Tanong ni Angelo napailing na lamang ako alam ko ang patutunguhan nito. We solved a big case, worth celebrating indeed.

It's means no more stress, victims, and hassle free.

“Come on guys! Really? Ikaw din Koheiya? Bar tayo sige na!” Anito, sabi ko na e. Angelo is 3 years older than me, we're partners. He's more outgoing than I am. Hindi ako umimik sa suwesyon nito.

I don't like the smell of sweats and smoke in one place. It reminds me of my past.

“Angelo, marami pa akong gagawin.” Sabi ko kahit wala naman. I want to rest, this week was our free. Means less lang oras sa department. Sinimangutan naman ako ni Angelo, I just shrugged.

“May mga asawa na ang halos lahat sa departemento natin. Tapos may bar-bar kapang nalalaman.” Asik ko rito, natawa naman si Sir Harold sa sinabi ko. Totoo naman iilan lang kaming walang asawa at bata pa sa departemento.

Less than 7 I think.

“Oh! Come on!” Disappointed na sabi nito, natawa nalang ako. Maybe I think it's time to try new things. New things that I didn't tried when I wasn't on the service.

Come to think of it.  I was really busy and didn't have a time to go to a bar nor party because I was busy securing my future. Now my future is secure as fuck, I want to try atleast.

I never got drunk. I never drink. I never dress up like a seductive grown woman. Maybe I'll try this time. I have one week. I'll try new things.

“Okay, I'll go. Mamaya 8?” Sabi ko, masaya naman ito at humiyaw pa sa lahat. He even invited the rest to the singles like us. Single night out!

THAT day I also went to the mall to buy my night to wear. I don't have those dress fit the club or bar Angelo said. It's called Devil's Den, really famous for bachelors and suchs.

I approached the sales lady which I know, we used live in the same town. I smiled at her, she also smiled at me.

“Ate Kohei, ano po kailangan niyo?” Agad na Tanong nito, my smile became awkward but I tried to be casual and collected.

“What type of dress do you use... when—uhm, in a club or bar?” I asked hesitantly, she smiled and remain professional.

“This one.” She guided me to a sexy section type of dresses. But one captured my eyes, innocent looking but half seductive like dress. Fitted criss crossed tied back dress. I chose the black to be more intimidating.

Nang mabili ay agad ako kumuha ng footwear na bagay doon. I can walk with high heels. I can even fight with high heels.

I know how to ready my self, I never thought I'll use make up again. I bath then dried my hair with blower, then set my face up then start the cue.

With 8:56, binaybay ko na ang papuntang club, alam ko namang late rin ang mga iyon. I parked my car, then guided my self to the entrance. Slightly smiled to the bouncer, I clutched my purse then get my phone.

6 o'clock from the entrance, you'll see us

Agad naman ako tumingin sa deriksyong iyon, I saw them drinking. I smiled and walk towards them. Smile plastered on Angelo's face, with a woman on his side probably he met on the club.

“Hi.” Bati ko kay Angelo.

“You're late, it's 9:25 already sabi mo 8 tayo? Akala ko 'di kana makakapunta.” Tumawa naman ang ibang kasapi sa departemento namin, they're enjoying themselves also with girls on their side.
