My world came falling down.

Hello everyone! this is my first book that I have written and if your reading this that means I actually posted it!! thank you for the reads I hope you enjoy! 

                               I wake up with a throbbing headache and feel sick to my stomach. when I open my eyes I don't recognize where I am. Then the memories of last night come flooding in. I turn to my side and see him just laying there asleep. he looks so peaceful, kind, and friendly but, he isn't. He is the schools "bad boy".  I try to move his hand off my waist and get out of the bed. once I get up I realize I'm completely naked. i search the room as quietly as I can to find and put on my clothes. Then I leave and head home. 

                      I sneak into the house and make it to my room as its still really early. I throw myself on the bed and start crying. " how could I have been so stupid!" I cry out. That was my first time last night and I barely remember it. to make it worse it was with him! he has slept with every girl in this town!! not literally but at least half the girls at our school. 

                oh I forgot to introduce myself hi, my name is Brooke Sawyer. I am 16 with light brown hair and blue eyes. I am in chorus at school because singing is my dream. My parents are divorced and I live with my mom. My dad left when I was 13 and started a new family somewhere else. I have a little brother named James and and older sister named Rachel. I was also a virgin until last night....

    I grab my phone and texts my best friend Kayla. 

B "Kayla wake up! I have to talk to you.. something happened last night." 

K " Brooke is everything okay??" 

B" I guess it is. I lost something last night and I will never get it back.." 

K " what? just tell me what you lost its too early for this."

B " kayla. I lost my virginity. and worse I woke up with his arms around me. I had to sneak in and now I feel like crap. I lost it to HIM. " 

K " oh wow Brooke. I will be over later today okay? don't worry about anything. I'm sure he doesn't remember." 

B " ouch. but yea lets hope he doesn't." 

* a couple hours later* 

   " Morning mom." 

" oh! morning hunny, how did you sleep?" 

" I slept good. Kayla is coming over in a few we will probably be up in my room." I lied about where I slept but I told the truth I did sleep good last night except for this awful hangover. 

" okay well I'm off to work and James is at a sleepover till tomorrow. have fun love you!" she says as she walks out of the house. 

"love you too mom." I mumble under my breath. 

an hour later Kayla came over. we talked about the party to try and jog my memory as to how I ended up with him. 

" omg when you left me to go get a drink did you run into him?" Kayla asked.

"no. I ended up having to pee so I went upstairs.... Oh My God! I was looking for the bathroom and ended up walking in on him. he was reading a book and laying in bed so I asked him why he wasn't downstairs. we talked a bit and then I drunkenly kissed him! I instigated it!" my head hurts more now that I know what happened. I did this to myself. 

" oh Brooke. I'm sorry hun I know you wanted it to be special. I shouldn't have let you get a drink alone I should of stayed with you I'm sorry."  

" its okay Kayla. its life right. we all make mistakes. let's just watch movies and eat loads of junk food. my brothers gone for the night and mom is at work." 

*two months later* 

well he hasn't noticed me yet so I'm pretty sure he forgets. which is good I think. I don't need him picking me as his next prospect. everything has been normal lately me and Kayla are focusing on music and mom is always at work. Rachel came home to help out with James now that mom isn't around much. 

*dinggg* there goes the bell its lunch now my favourite because I get to see Kayla and eat! for lunch I packed some leftover pizza and a ton of sweet snacks. 

" you hungry there Brooke?" asked Kayla 

" yea I've been really hungry lately I don't know why. my body tells me to eat all this food and then every morning I throw it all up." 

" um Brooke. when was your last period?" 

" oh on the 6th of last month why?" 

"Brooke its the 12th. and your never late."

" your right! maybe my body is going through something stressful which is causing me to eat, throw up, and be late!" 

" yea Brooke your body might be going through something. like pregnancy." I stared at Kayla. how could she say that I can't be pregnant. we used a condom, right? 

"Brooke please tell me you used protection!" Kayla whisper yelled.

" i...I uh..... I think we did?" 

"jeez Brooke. your supposed to make sure! you aren't even on the pill! come on lets go." 

" go where? its the middle of the school day!"

" we are going to the drugstore and getting you all the tests there are. if you are pregnant its best to know right away that way you have options." I couldn't believe her. one she thinks I might be pregnant and two she thinks I have "options" if I'm pregnant I'm keeping it even though I'm not pregnant. " I'm not pregnant Kayla!" I say as If I have a clue. I actually want to take a test but I don't want it to be true. "humor me then Brooke and take one anyway. lets go." 

we make it to the drugstore in 10 minutes as its only a few blocks away and Kayla drove. I'm to nervous to go in there and buy a test so Kayla does. I'm freaking out! what if I'm pregnant! with him! your probably wondering who "he" is. he is the football star the one all the girls drool over. his name is Ashton wills and he is 18. and from what I hear he has never had a girlfriend and sleeps with tons of girls. total jackass. 

Im taken out of my thoughts when Kayla opens the car door with a bag full of pregnancy tests. " you expect me to pee on all of those?" there are at least five there is now way I can pee on all of them! " no silly you will pee in a cup and put the ends of all of these in it." I don't understand how she is so calm. her best friend might be pregnant! " come on we will go to my house no one is home right now parents are on a work trip." says Kayla as she starts to drive to her house. 

" come on Brooke open the door let me in!" Kayla begs. but I just try to keep the tears in. all 5 tests came back positive. I'm pregnant.
