New life

"Rolling in the deep, we could have had it all" My ring tone played, as I ran to my phone.

"Hey Jake," I said. " Hey are you ready the plan leaves in 3 hours I am on my way to get you now," he replyed

After saying my goodbyes to my family I realized this was it for 6 months I was going to be helping people and working for the government. "You ready?" Jake said shaking my parents a hands.After a tearful goodbye we were on the road.

"I think this will be a neat experience, just kinda worried about what the government part has to do with it," Jake said. "Well I mean we signed up they know we are part of MATTHEW so it can't be that bad."  as we approached the air port my phone rang with a blocked number. "Hello,?" I said hesitently.

"Yes there have been a change of plans, we see you, you don't see us, don't look for us. Your plane tickets have changed your now at gate 7B." The dark voice said "who is this," I asked only to recieve a snappy reply. "Ma'am don't ask questions just do as told." I hung up explaning to Jake. We passed through security noticing that men in all black suits were watching us.

"I don't like how they are following us" I said. "Don't worry maybe they think that we are lost?" Jake said grabbing my hand. After sitting through the long lines of security we finally reached our gate.

"Jake and Carter?" a man said with black glasses. We both nodded. "Follow me," jake interupted "We have a plan to " " Follow me" he said louder.  We grabbed our bags, Jake reached for my left hand as I gave him a wild eyed look. He turned to me and mouthed, "Just don't let go" I nodded.

Aggration filled me as we left the area of security we had stood in line for, for an hour.  The man pushed open the door "have a seat" he said. The room was darkish, with a round table only which had 3 seats.

"I assume you have know idea why you are in this room." He said. "Certain people get picked to work for the government, you two have been selected. You will be investigating , you will complete missions, and you will do as we say. Here are your new boarding passes. You will be flying to Dallas Texas in one hour. I will sit across from you on the plane and we will discuss more once we arrive at the headquarters. You will have no contact with the out side world till I say further. Understand?" he said. Well no we were both completely confused.

" Follow me speak to no one, look no one  in the eyes." He said groufly

As we boarded the plane the large man sat in the island seat across from Jake. I leaned my head on Jake to make it look like I was asleep. "I don't like this," I mummbled. "I know we will find out more. I thought we would be doing paper work not mission work," he said. We noticed the large man staring at us. We couldn't talk much so he grabbed my hand and we fell asleep.

Jake nudged me "Wake up" he said. As our plane made it to the gate. " Please wait till the captain turns off the seatbelt sign to get up" the stuwardist said.

As we unboarded the plane my hand begain to shake. What was this madness we got our selves into?

"Don't worry about your luggage you wont need it , it has been sent back to your homes."The man said.

"Excuse me?" Jake asked. "We have the nessessaties all ready for you. Just follow me" The man said.

We walked across the airport, finalley reaching a dark black limo.

"Sit," He said pointing. "These are your badges, you have been picked to serve for our government. Our people have been watching you both for the past months. With your courage you will do us well. You first mission is mission x. You will stay in a hotel named The King. Here are your new ID's" he said handing them to us.

"You both will be categorised as a married couple on your honey moon. Your names will not change this needs to be as real as we can make it." he said.

"What are we," he cut Jake off. "Let me finish."

"You will be finding agent Z, these will be your life savers," He said handing us a bag.

We opened it, inside contained clothing, documents, a tazer.
