Changing Carter WATTY AWARDS 2012

China

"Now boarding section C" the lady over the intercome said.  Jake and I nervously waited our turn as the couple ahead of us handed the boading passes.  "Have a great trip," she said to us, if only she knew. At this point I am not sure if I am more nervous about the 17 hour flight or what our lives were about to intell. We made our way onto the plane, we could only find two seats next to each other towards the back of the plane. We sat back held hands as I rested my head on his shoulder while we listened to the flight attendent. " So sit back and enjoy your ride as we begin our route to China" she said.

 Jake and I both had taken a sleeping pill around our 3rd hour on the plane, Jake had done the math, our flight was at 9pm so we slept normally tille what would be 10am then we ate and our ride was complete fasted flight that I had ever been on. "We will begin desending in a few minuetes please stay seated till the captain turns off the seat belt sign." The fight attended said.

As we landed my heart begain to beat harder than normal I could tell Jake was concerned more than normal as well. He too felt that our lives were about to drastically change. Carter was about to change again this time Jake was changing too.

We noticed that we were suddenly the center of attention as we headed towards the baggage claim.  "I see our black dull bags" I said. Jake gave a slight smile more of a smile that contained fear. We retreived our bagage and noticed the large group of people watching our every moves. During the meeting we had recieved a letter with all of our information, we were Mr. and Mrs. James, we were staying at the HI Lynn which was a high class hotel. We had a limo waiting for us out side.

" You ready for this," Jake asked. "Not at all" I replyed giving him the answer I am sure he was not looking forward to.

We gave the driver our bags and found a seat in the limo. At this point tension could be cut with a straw but we both knew there was no way out.

Upon a 30 min drive we arrived at the hotel. I let Jake do the checking in as I walked around. I found a unique picture that I looked at for a while befor Jake startled me, "Ready to head up to the room, and sleep again?" He said slightly more relaxed than before. "Ready as I will ever be," I replied.  Not only do I highly dislike flying on an airplane but I dispise heights, this trip was going to put me to the test seeing as our room was on the lucky 13th floor.

9 hours later our alarm clock skreatched in a high pitched tone waking us up.  We did our normal routines and headed out for our so called mission. I had a wicked nightmare about my mom and summer but I knew that I couldn't let that steal my focus at this point I needed to focus on our lives.

"Get your hands in the air! " a man with a gruph and dark voice yelled. My heart began to race how could we get caught  already. " "Stay" jake wishpered as he began to walk I reached for his hand but he broke loose, " You don't want to get any closer sir, I will kill you," he repeated . "Jake Stop!!" I kept yelling and what I was about to witnessed shocked not only me but Jake.

I stood in terr as I watched Jake Punch the man knocking out the gun from his hand. Jake kicked it to me. "Grab it" he yelled. Jake and the man continued to wresle on the ground before Jake broke lose. "Shoot him in the knee! " Jake yelled. "I can't" I replied but the man drew another gun on Jake at that moment I did what any person thinks that they can't I fired the riffle at the mans knees and Jake and I ran to the car.

Like that wasn't terrifing enough, Jake was driving 90 in a 45. "Slow down hes not going to catch us," I said with a shaky voice. "It isn't him we are running from the black car about a mile from us, they want to kill us." he said. I wasn't sure how he knew.

;"listen there is something you need to know," He said. "My parents work for the CIA thats why we are here. I didn't think this would ever happen." I could feel my jaw drop. "Why the hell are you just now telling me this! Jake this is major how could you keep this from me!" I yelled. "I am sorry but now isn't the time to be mad you can yell at me later," He said.

I could not believe this how could he keep such a major event a secret from me. I did notice the black cars speeding up to catch us. " Just remeber what we learned in trainning. And Carter, I love you I didn't tell you I was trying to pretect you." He said I just gave him a dead plain look of disbelif.
