"Hey, I'm back."

I push him away. I heard he's the complete opposite William and I should stay away from him he spells trouble as Megs And Vicki says but also completely hot I won't deny it.

"That's not a very good welcome."

"Who says I'm welcoming you."

"I see your still feisty. You've changed, you became...hotter." He smirks at me again.

"Go away, Grayson."

"Ouch, that hurts.

He says placing his hand on his chest and pretending to be hurt.

"Drop dead."

I walk off and he catches up to me. He puts his hand on my shoulder.

"So how have you been my little Serena."

"Daniel I don't want to talk to you right now." tears were on the verge of my eyes. I don't want to cry in front of him that makes me vulnerable. I need him to go I'm not ready for confrontations the truth is I don't know him.

He puts his hands in defeat. I run to my doorstep and head inside my bedroom.

I cried my eyes out that felt like hours. Why does Phoebe hate me. She used to be my best friend. How did she turn out like this? How could she betray me ditch me then say nasty things to me. Isn't a best friend supposed to be supportive?

I hear the door downstairs open.

"Honey, we're home!"

I put on my plain black hoodie and I wipe the tears of my face.

I run downstairs to see my mum and dad behind her.

"Hey mum, I've missed you!"

"Hey, why do you look like you cried?"

Oh just that my ex best friend is now going out with my crush and A guy called Daniel knows me and did I say crush? Because that's how I feel right now 'crushed'

"Nothing, I just miss you."
I don't want to worry her I think this will be the last time I see him anyway.

I hugged her tightly.

"Hey kiddo, you forgot about me!" I hear dad say shouting from the hallways.

"I miss you too Dad!"

"Well get to bed its late." My mother says.

"HEY MUM! I've missed you!" I hear shrieking downstairs.

"Wow Vicki you've gotten prettier! Not that you weren't prettier before but-"

"Mum your rambling." I tell her chuckling slightly.

"Oh you know what I mean!" She says.

"So how long are you staying?"

"Are you trying to get rid of me already?"

"No way!"

"I only came to visit you and how your doing well we better go." she gives me a hug.

"See you next time poppet." my dad says kissing my forehead.

"Vicki, we need to talk but in the car."

We're driving towards the school.

"Hey urmm do you know a guy named Daniel?"

"He's back?! That guy is hot!"

We park in school as everyone looks towards us. How did we become invisible for almost a year and then everyone looks at us in a day.

Then I hear girls screaming I turn around a black Lamborghini coming to park in the private area.

People are so dumb you have to pay for private parking in school!! SCHOOL!! Where teachers teach kids like us that are sometimes useless to rich people who can have anything they want by clicking their fingers.

It's like getting money for blinking! This high class society that differs from average people sucks! Like really sucks. I'm not spending the money on whores who'll sleep with me at night.

My parents have a lot of money but their wise enough not to spoil me too much.

I'll spend it on kids in poverty, buy my parents their house and retirement money, and go travel the world and become an international fashion designer.

My dream is big! But it won't be a dream if it doesn't scare me. I don't want to end up like these stuck up dimwits who waste money like tissue paper as well girls.

They get out of the car and Daniel looks at me I couldn't pull away then William came into the picture. They look different from each other, William has bright blue eyes like mine but his are so much sexier and Daniel has grey eyes I could lose myself into. It makes my heart skip William by the way not Daniel he's a playboy way different from William.

He gave me a small smile. does it mean anything? URGHHH I WISH HE WOULD TALK TO ME BUT THEN PHOEBE WILL KILL ME AND IF HE DOES SPEAK TO ME ILL PROBABLY STUTTER LIKE AN IDIOT I AM AND MAKE MYSELF MORE STUPID THAN I ALREADY AM. Not that I am stupid but STUPID when it comes to guys. Here I am blabbering to myself making my self more insane. but having friends like Vicki and Megs keep me sane...a little bit anyway.

I grab Vicki's hand.

"Let's go."

I say without leaving my eyes of William until he's out of sight.

Classes pass by so quickly I pack my stuff and headed towards the door.

"Serena the principal wants to see you."

"Okay Sir."
